Absolutely loved this video/reaction....I've been a serious W.A.S.P. fan since I was 13 in 1983....I'm almost 52 & getting sober again after a 3 yr drinking & pill taking binge....last 10 yrs....family deaths, divorce.ect. Anyhow, your video reaction to Golgotha for me was a great song reaction & a great sermon in a way & I just wanted to say thank you!! As a 10 yr...somewhat Christian who needs & ewants to come back to Jesus....I needed this tonight!! Awesome my man :-)

I read that Blackie Lawless has always been inspired by classical music. As for me, I get Queen's "The Show Must Go On" vibes from this song, and that's a compliment!

For a forlorn metalhead like me, who has no other way to relate, this song helps a lost soul like me believe there is hope. The composition presented by Blackie is beyond compare.

This is a very powerful song. I’ve seen reactions by non-believers that real get the meaning of this song. Great choice!! Blackie is one of the most underrated voices and song writers in history. If you listen to the Crimson Idol album it’s a journey down a very dark road of someone that basically sold there soul for fame after a very painful childhood. It’s raw and disturbing but something that I feel everyone should hear. Especially Christians that are narrow minded. It’s not for the weak at heart but the confusion, pain and being lost are thrown right in your face.

Mentioned here many times already, but yes, Blackie is a born again christian. As he said himself, he's bilingual in religion vice. In his earlier age, he ended up studying occult for years but later on he found faith. Truly amazing musician.

This is one of the most powerful songs and Blackie Lawless has the best metal voice ever. Another good song I think you will enjoy by them is called Unholy Terror/Charisma and there is a fan made video which has the lyrics and the meaning behind the lyrics, it is all about the anti-christ and I am not sure if Blackie had come back to the faith when that was written but it is a very powerful song too. Blackie has always been a born again Christian, he became one at the age of 11 but got disillusioned by organised religion and then got into the occult for about 3 years and realised that it was just another form of organised religion and stayed away from his faith for 20 years and then came back. He is the real Prodigal Son. Thank you so much for reacting to this song.

Much appreciated... Keep the videos coming please. And yes, I too find Passion of the Christ , difficult to watch and I'm by no means squimish. BTW, the song Sleeping in the Fire by W.A.S.P. has to be the polar opposite of Golgotha. Awesome instrumental but the lyrics though hypnotic is very dark.
