I am not as humble as I should be; I am more arrogant than I should be, and if my heart wants me to purchase something “frequently”, then I feel like I deserve it because I worked most of my life. Paul said in Rom 7:19 NIV, “I want to do good, but I don’t. I don’t want to do what is bad, but I do it anyway.” I want to be the perfect example of what a Christian should be but I always fall short. Your discussions are fun to watch, informative, thought provoking but also reassuring. Y’all are becoming my favorite self-help tool.

I won’t stand for any potted meat sandwich slander! Potted meat sandwiches popped in the microwave & washed down with a big glass of milk were a staple of my childhood when dad was in charge of throwing together a quick meal!!

The etymology of “money is the root of all evil” belongs to some way way back in the first century preacher who was trying encourage giving from his clutch-fisted congregants…..a little guilt goes a long way Also, are we certain that Jesus was not Southern??!! All the hyperbole and stories and parables???!! Just sayin.
