She will perfectly understand Debussy's aesthetic, intent and spirit, so her performance is moving, stellar and flawless

Beautiful, delicate playing. Nice dynamics in your phrasing. You convey the dreamy feeling the piece should have quite well... Nice work, Ms. Ott.

The softness of touch shows well in this performance and recording. Piumata.

I believe Debussy composed this when he was 28.Extraordinary maturity from one so young.Praise should also go to the wonderful tone of the piano and the quality of the sound recording but really,it is the superb, unhurried playing which makes this so sublime.A perfect performance.

listened to reverie for like 9 months straight (often exclusively, stressful workload at work) so they're tuned to being rather critical, my ears and this execution is wonderful. thank you

I lived next door to Alice but that was way back before 1977. That's forty five years I've been getting used to not living next door to Alice and its gone so quick. I think I may right a song about it!.

When I'm on my death bed and this comes on, I know its time to let go because I'm at peace and nothing could be more tranquil.
Great use of dynamics, better than most versions I've heard and am I allowed to say she's hot or would that be inappropriate?

Perhaps he felt it could be improved upon. Personally, I love it just as it is, having played it a thousand times on the piano as a young girl. For such a simple piece, it's damnably difficult to play correctly, as it has a very distinct voice all it's own. It demands that the performer get out of the way completely, or it ceases to sound natural.

it's beautiful, but nothing and none will ever come close to thiollier's, in my humble opinion :)
