Wow... absolutely beautiful. I was lucky enough to grow up learning on a Steinway grand I inherited (grandfather was a concert pianist) and I honestly thought this piano might be a Steinway. Seems Yamaha has made great strides - the tone is beautiful. I always said if you could combine the Steinway bass with the Baldwin treble, you'd have the perfect piano. Yamaha is stepping up its game! Once again, your videography and editing are stellar as well. You look beautiful, too! Thank you for sharing.

This was a great performance and a great piece of music. Great combination of classical and sacred. Only one question, was the lid for your piano intentionally removed to allow more sound to project out? I have never seen a lid on a grand piano removed before, only closed or propped up.

Thank you so much Terry - that's very kind of you. Taking the lid off of the piano is sometimes done in live concert so that it projects differently, or in my own personal experience so that it doesn't block the audience (or my) view of the conductor and orchestra. For filming videos, the lid creates a barrier for shots of me, and makes it entirely easier to walk around me in a 360 degree view and not have anything blocking the camera. Also, it is very neat to see the inside of the piano as well. I've done this is several of my music videos (The Red Aspens, Alleluia, The Fire Within, etc.). - Jennifer
