You do not use Crit on any character other than Lilya, until you get Tooth Fairy. You go for attack and damage boost stats.

Crit isn't as great in this game as you might think. Enemies have things like Critical Defense and Critical Resistance, on top of the Crit damage stat not being crazy makes it less efficient over Attack which is a more balanced build. Tooth Fairy i believe provides shred to Crit Def/Resistance while sustaining which is what makes her so good.@@mirkogalusic6021

It's based on the default main node each character has. It's shape based not role based. Charlie is obviously not a support but she has the main node shaped like that. They named the shapes based on the baseline stats from each main node.

Coming from a star rail player, it seems quite surreal that it seems that classic dps in this game dont need crit if the basic crit dmg is 250 percent. Is it actually proven that the crit damage boost from crit resonance does not exceed the basic damage output with attack resonance?

Ya I've noticed that's the case. Eagle for example is a good example of excess crit rate going towards her crit dmg (it says it in the description). So I believe that if it doesn't state it, I assume it's just to go against credit Def

I find this to be a bit of an odd recommendation. While units fits into shapes available for the different categories, they don't necessarily all want the exact same stats. Isn't it better to break it down per character instead of a generalized build?

At lvl 5 balanced i can get a lot of % dmg and still a lot of atk with my setup but the one from the sheet i have 141 ATK yes but 2% dmg so loosing like 6% damage it's big i'm not sure about it

Flat attack is extremely important in this game. Depending on how much you're trading for how much damage bonus is what matters. Don't neglect attack like you can in other games. Different games have different damage formulae

The point is that these are some of the top cn builds used for these classes. You can build as crit or balanced but she is classified as support. I've tried a few out and they are better for some of the units I've got using quick load. I mean I didn't create this but we have had people test some and I've done a bit myself. In most cases these are better. Resonate differences are such small differences in the first place

There is only 1 mistake with this loading that is basically Crit build on DPS which is NOT A GOOD WAY TO BUILD The balance build stacking atk, def is actually just way better because crit build is very specific and only certain char follow it

I think going for crit isn't good unless your character benefits from skills with it imo. Attack/HP is better IMO. Also you wanna try to have few 1 tile ideas, try to optimize to have as few as possible (from resonate 5 onwards)

@@PayneBlade So far from my experience I'm agreeing with SteamedBunX on crit damage: It falls off. Even in CN with Toothfairy and Res 13 which it start to get good, enemies there also get higher Crit Def+Crit Resist. I mean it's common sense: You have a stat that relies on attack so it gets reduced by defenses/dmg reduction too, and on top of that, you also have stats that ONLY affect crit: Lower % and Damage. This reminds me of Priconne were Magic Attacks/Mages were much better than Fighers/Archers because characters had a _Dodge_ stat that gave a % of avoiding Physical Damage (a stat that ONLY applied to physical). Tanks and frontliners naturally had high Dodge% so in PVP you only saw mages 99% of the time.

I think the character you giving an example is a "Support" I swear I can copy the resonate level 9 for Crit build for my Eagle 4 star character The devs already handicap 3 or 4 star for not giving them Insight III why would they also do that to their resonate too. That's like saying "Don't use 3 star or 4 star because they are so useless / incomplete compare to 5 star or 6 star"

Ya I tried to build crit with Pavia or balanced and I didn't have the same shapes for the lvl. Specifically the shapes beside each unit that is 5 and 6star. I am curious, do you see that shape with your eagle? The cross one. I'll double check as well on my side with Pavia. I wouldn't have figured he was support lol
