Wow I loved the video. I answered yes to most of the questions asked. Congratulations on your baby! I have left the US about 2.5 months ago due to all the reasons you stated. I am traveling around (first time) to Europe looking for a place to retire. We have been to Italy, now in Croatia, and are going to stay in each country for a month. We head to Montenegro, Albania, Greece, then Portugal, Spain, and more. I still love the US but living there is not a happy place or joyous for us anymore. We are currently in Split Croatia and love it so much.

How is Valencia after the flood? I really hope everything is okay there and people get the help they need.
@AvFenix55

The city of Valencia is practically intact thanks to the huge artificial riverbed of the Turia River that surrounds the city to the south. What was flooded is to the south of the artificial riverbed. Only two small neighborhoods in the city of Valencia south of the Turia River have been affected. What has been mainly flooded is the southern part of the metropolitan area of Valencia. There is a lot of confusion with the subject because the province of Valencia has the same name as the city of Valencia. The flooded municipalities belong to the province of Valencia and that is why we talk about floods in Valencia.

"There's a dark energy now." 100% The US has felt like this for the last 8 years or so. Lived in NYC 2010-2016 and felt safe for the most part all over the city now... not so much. Visited LA in July 2016 and most people I saw and interacted with were the happy and mostly carefree. Coast to coast America has changed on a spiritual level and is noticibly declning. This decline has accelerated after COVID. Add in insane healthcare costs, political division and gun violence and I'm planning to leave despite whoever wins the election since none of those things seem to be changing for the better anytime so sadly. "I choose to go where I'm treated best." Hope everything is OK with the flooding there in Valencia.

I'm considering a move to Spain or maybe even Dubai, but that all depends on if I can retire comfortably and afford it. It will likely happen regardless of who wins today because I think the country I was born in and love is too far gone to be repaired, and has been overrun by so many who aren't supposed to be here, but are because of those in charge with a selfish agenda.

"Would you move if ... ?" - What a poignant question. For the majority of people the threshold of fear of something new will be far too high. And it takes a certain mindset to go someplace else for a long enough while to notice the differences the way you did in the first place. First of all your facts are incorrect about Rite Aid. They are in the middle of filing for Chapter 11. Until they settle out of court for Chapter 11, they are a limited supply of items available to the public. I see that your habit of spreading misinformation has not changed. BTW, the homeless numbers in Los Angeles have dropped.
@ellieramseyer
@ellieramseyer Күн бұрын
Once again, there are several things you mention in your video that are incorrect and filled with misinformation and not fact checked. Rite Aid: Rite Aid stores are devoid of merchandise because they are going through Chapter 11 bankruptcy and have limited access to vendors. If you had been living in this country for the past four years and picked up a newspaper once in a while you would have known instead of making assumptions that it was due to robberies. Ultrasound: If you were insured instead of being self-employed, your HMO or PPO would have covered the ultrasound. Instead, you assume just because you are you, that you are entitled to a free ultrasound. Homeless: If you had done your research, you would have learned that the homeless count in Los Angeles has dropped from prior years. Safety: DTLA, particularly the jewelry district was never and nor has it ever been a safe place at night. If walk at night in this area, you are a fool. Is Cabanyal and Malvarrosa in Valencia safe to walk around at 11:00 p.m. at night? Make sure you compare apples to apples. Austin vs Los Angeles: You cannot compare Los Angeles to Austin. For one thing, Los Angeles has 9.63 million residents and Austin only has 979,882 residents; of course, the crime rate is going to be different. Why would anyone want to live in Texas where they restrict women's reproductive rights. God forbid you should have a reproductive emergency in Austin, they let you bleed to death before they help you. Life Balance: Not everyone's work-life balance is stressed out in the U.S. as you point out. Again, you make assumptions on behalf of 334,914,895 Americans without any fact check. BTW, what good is work-life balance in Spain when the average annual salary is only $27K per year, you can't afford to buy a home and the youth unemployment is 26.5% with no job prospects for your children. Spanish children are forced to go to other European countries to make a decent living wage. BTW, have you ever lived in any other U.S. state other than Texas and California? Have you ever visited Washington, D.C. visited any historical sites or educated yourself on our history?

The end stage of hyper capitllism is felt much more here than in Europe. You will see slower growth there but people have more power than capital there. Also, the US constitution has reached it's end point given the massive growth of the country in since 1779. Mostly, we have not overcome our original sin: slavery. Enjoy your life in Valencia with your new baby.

In Europe we know that everything changes over time, nothing is immutable. You only have the year 1779 as a starting point, in Europe we go back 2,500 years of wars, epidemics, political and demographic changes, rise and fall of empires, etc. There is a long-term overall vision that the USA, due to its youth, does not have.

You can keep trashing USA in your videos all you want but one thing is certain: the way Spain responded to the natural disaster in Valencia is worst than a third world country. What are those high taxes in Spain for? The emergency response in USA is the best in the world. In USA, they would have never wait 4 days to send help. That’s embarrassing.

It is true that the reaction was late, but the magnitude and speed of the floods was biblical. I assure you that the lesson was learned. On the other hand, the management of Hurricane Katrina was not an example. You have a stereotypical image of Spain, probably a mixture of Mexico and Guatemala.

I am American but also my family is from Spain and I have to say is true that the response was late but what I seen here , thousands of people including my family members going to help those in need , You can’t never see it in the US. People simply don’t care.I lived in the same house for 5 years I never talked to my neighbor other than to say Hi. Most people in the US think they are in the best country in the world including me for most of my life . There’s none so blind as those who will not see😢

@@julieantia7706 that’s not true. iIf you think Americans don’t care, you didn’t witness the display of kindness among strangers when the attack of 911 hit NYC.

@@julieantia7706 So you are blaming your neighbors for not speaking to you? You should have reached out and established the friendship. Ironically you live and benefit from living in the U.S. and are too proud to admit that you are benefiting from the food, clothing, shelter, healthcare, and education you received in the U.S. Pray tell, why have you not moved to Spain?

@ellieramseyer OMG is crazy you say someone can benefit from education, healthcare, and food from the US. it sounds like a joke. If you ever travel to different places, you'll soon realize the food in the US is horrible, and the only "benefit" I got from it was IBS , and the healthcare is extremely expensive . I paid over 600 per month every month for insurance and still had to wait long period of time to get appt and I got bills from extra charges the insurance didn't cover, and don't get me started with the education pls . I never said I live in the US. I said I am american because that is my citizenship, but I don't live there. Thank God!
