BEEN SAYING THIS! I was wondering why nobody else noticed but me. Crickets in every comment section. Thought I must've been going crazy. They are almost IDENTICAL in the way they contribute to a game. Luka does a tad more work in the paint, but that's it. In their primes, both are generationally great unguardable offensive players. High usage, lots of 3's, whiny foul merchants that get soft calls, great point guards, always flirting with a tripple double, strong getting to the paint, Ultra lazy on defense and a tendency to be out of shape. Luka may seem better, but y'all just forgot that analyst's literally said "Harden might be the greatest offensive player" every damn day ..... at nauseum. 😂

There's is a double standard with white euro players. For example earlier this year nuggets and the mavs played. I glance through the stat sheet of the game like i do every game from every night. The next morning an article pops up about jokic making history last night, in that same mavs and denver game. I had to scratch my head because i know i saw his stats of 8pts 9rebounds 7 assist for that game. A tribble single as they call it. So i read the article and it was about him moving to 112th on the all time assist list in that game. You know who was 109th on that same list? demar derozan. 104th was draymond green. Neither of those two ever got article about making history being # 100 in something on the all time assist list. Hell jrue holiday was #40 on that list at the time and i never saw an article of him making history by moving up on the list. Thats just one example of many ive noticed. The article made it seem as if jokic had done something extraordinary when all he had done was move up 1 spot on the assist list and still had a hundred plus players ahead of him. Like the only ppl who dont notice this is white ppl who benefit from this double standard. If lebron had 8 pts 9rebounds 7assist as a 39 year old, he would get clowned. Especially if there was an article prasing him for that performance afterwards.
@coreyjohnson5346
@coreyjohnson5346 2 ай бұрын
They also talk about jokic passes as if no one has ever seen anything like that before. Like the one from a couple nights ago from one end of the court to the other end that led to a 3 pointer by one of his teammates. They act as if other players haven't been making that pass for years. Like Kevin love been making that same pass since his Minnesota days a decade ago. I just witnessed jalen suggs throw a pass from the opposing basket all the way to the magic basket that turned into an alley hoop for paolo banchero. But the media didn't get all fanned out about that and start writing a bunch of articles. It's obvious that they hold black players and black ppl in general to a higher standard than they do themselves. White ppl seeing a white player perform at the same level as the black players is rare. So rare that when it occurs, they Amp the white player up 100 times more than would he should be.

That same Allen Iverson u mentioned Just said on Shaq’s podcast the 2 players he was scared of was Steph & Steve Nash. …He was not overrated. His addition took phx from 20 something wins if I’m not mistaken to 60 wins. Similar to bird when he was drafted & c’s went from 29 wins to 60. He won three in a row. His value was instant and obvious. We somehow have moved into the revisionist era where everyone wants to look back at events out of context & devoid of the perspective of the time. Nobody protested his MVP’s at the time. Everyone was energized by his play. & EVERYONE knows the league shafted the suns vs the Lakers when they suspended key players after Horry’s cheap shot on Nash. They were going to beat LAL handily. Sorta reminiscent of that thing between gsw & cavs that led to a win. Or how the refs helped LAL vs Sac when they were getting cooked. I’m watching this yrs playoffs carefully. An agenda to assist Lbj appears to be brewing yet again. We shall see. Ratings are down. I can only assume a win by him/them is wut they think will infuse new life into the game. Maybe…But their schedule in the last 2 months & their penchant to receive 30-35 pts from the Line vs winning teams has my antanae up….u stop the cap tho. Nash was nice.

Luka all day, every day over Harden. Luka hasn’t played no where close with the talent that Harden played with. And Luka has at least shown up big in the playoffs and didn’t disappear like Harden did. Harden has played with KD, Westbrook, Chris Paul, Kawhi, PG, Kyrie, Embiid, Maxey and others. Luka’s best teammates have been Kyrie, Brunson and Porzingis.

GA is a xenophobe. Foreign players were criticized for 30 years. Shaq was whining about the MVPs that Nash won. I bet Nash would take rings over awards any day. There is a certain segment of fans & media that play the victim. You guys are acting like black players are underrepresented when they predominantly make up the league. Cut the bullshit.
