Reverse Engineering Valorant Cheats because I Cannot Sleep

Trying to crack a Valorant cheat to bypass the auth that is coded in it by the Developer. This video was made with the consent of the developer and no one was attacked/harassed in the making of this video.
I am a beginner and have just started learning about reverse engineering recently. So there might be a lot of incorrect information or something that I misinterpreted as something else, if you see anything regarding the same please do correct me in the comments. Also since English is my 3rd language, I might have used some words that I didn't really mean to use, so feel free to correct me in the comments!

So would the key auth crack technically be categorized as a SQL injection attack? I noticed right away you used SQL so this led me to believe this as server1 read the input as “True” due to the quote you added. Also I wonder if this could be easily brute forced - you made the user “ which obviously wouldn’t be a valid username in server2, but I wonder if you made the user: admin, user, guest, etc. just to try and see if it would actually come back positive or there was a dev account or other account you had found. Just a thought. Would love to see a walkthrough from you or your reverse malware friend separating the original cheat from the keylogger and the process that goes into that, that would be sick. Very nice work. 👍

Sort of, yes. It does match with the stuff that you would do on a classic SQL injecttion. Also no developer would be stupid enough to name their private account as "admin" or "root". I did tell him to get into documenting all his work but he doesn't like getting an audience, he didn't even allow me to take his name so yeah hes pretty attention phobic as u can say. But yes I surely will learn more and maybe one day I become good enough to tear these apart like a child's play.

you can manipulate keyauth in many ways. I know a dude that basically changed a loader's keyauth credentials or another way is manipulating "success" and the message. (using harmony lib) but i paste shit so i wouldnt know how xD

@@InfamousKoalaThat would be smart to do as well yeah, not sure if server2 would currently be vulnerable without further OSINT work or knowledge provided. I too wanna get into it just gotta find the time right now. Also I've heard it before but i'm glad you explained that the reason these cheats are able to bypass the anti-cheat is because of the dlls and the anti-cheat inability to check for this due to privacy concerns. I've heard the dll method is used for gta menus and others alike but never knew the reason why so ty.

2nd server got "True" as username to find in the server and it couldn't find it since it should't exist and hence the server didn't return anything and the client timed out
