Multiple touches on the ball. Work on La Croqueta and Reverse Croqueta. Push the ball mainly with your outside foot. Work with cones if you can and try to speed it up as you master it. Then go out and play a lot to put what you practised in motion. Learn from mistakes. Rinse and repeat. Ultimately, the goal is to the simple things when the simple things are required so don’t overdo it little Messi 😅

It’s called a reverse because you’re striking the ball at a “negative” angle, showing your hips almost like you’re going to pass the ball near post, but instead angling your body and foot to guide it far post. You can also perform a reverse pass, very typical of crafty midfielders such as Thiago Alacantara. They make it seem like they are passing one way, then angle their body to play the opposite. Really effective for deceiving the opponent when done right 👌
