Here's my suggestion - mix up some paints and play! Give yourself the freedom to make mistakes and learn from them. You'll surprise yourself - I guarantee it. And you'll have lots of fun!
Now grab yourself some paints and BE FEARLESS!

The trick to getting great pearls in a Reverse Flower Dip is a combination of getting the right consistency and using the right ingredients. I don't have access to the same ingredients that@Fiona-Art uses, so I've been experimenting with the products that I can easily find.
For this video, my pearl white recipe is: 2 parts US Floetrol - 1 part Chormacryl White - 1 part DecoArt Satin Enamel - 1 part Vallejo Pearl Medium + water to get a thin consistency that barely leaves a mound when drizzled off of a stir stick before melting into the cup.
I love Fluid Art Co.! If you've never shopped with them before, Fluid Art Co supplies This Little Piggy and Stuck Up Piggy pigments, Aussie Floetrol, Amsterdam paints, TriArt, Pebeo and much more. They are on the cutting edge of everything Fluid Art and they have the BEST customer service!

I 'rescue' any paint that gets spun or tilted off by scraping it off of the table, straining it and saving it to use as a base coat for future pours. Very little waste!
