Donut: (Smaller Donut materials in parenthesis)
44+ 4mm Round Beads (40 - 3mm Round Beads)
36 - 4mm Bicones (2 colors) (40 - 3mm Bicones 2 colors)
8/0 Seed Beads (11/0 Seed Beads)
Tassel: (both sizes) Suggested gauge for head/eye pins is 20-22 gauge
Approx. 3ft. - 2mm Rolo Chain & Rectangle Rolo Chain
1 - 8mm Inside Diameter Bead Cap or (8mm Tube Bead)
2 - 6mm Crystal Spacers (1 -4mm or 5mm Pearl)
1 - 8mm Rondelle or (8mm Pearl)
3 - 2 1/2 inch Head Pins or 2 Head Pins and an Eye Pin same size (which ever you have)
Chain sections:
6+ 1 inch Eye Pins
11/0 Seed Beads
7mm Jump Rings (or any size you like) for bail on larger donut and chain. ( 1 - 9mm closed loop bail for smaller Donut)
Approx 2-3 ft. Decorative chain for around the neck

I guess we all have our own forms of meditative escape. Some people listen to music, others light candles at church, others take a walk. I watched this video. Have been so burned out watching and looking for the best KZbin videos for patterns and advice for making COVID face masks to donate -- and then *trying to get the materials, which are all out of stock* -- that I found myself coming back to this channel to decompress and remind myself that there will be a time again when I'm making jewelry instead of face masks. Love this! Gonna make this to go with my Cobblestone collar necklace, bracelet and earrings. I ran short of Superduos in the color I was using so I can't make the CS pendant, but I still have more of the other materials, so I can make my tasseled donut pendant to coordinate. I love this! I have been wanting to find a necklace design that doesn’t use a ton of beads. This one is perfect! I’m just learning how to CRAW, and this method seems easier for me to understand than what I tried yesterday. I have those same head pins. I think they’re pretty bad too, but I saved them to make eye pins with. The size and placement of the heads is too random! Thank you for another excellent tutorial! ❤️

Very pretty and great for the summer. One question...How did you connect the bead sections in the tassel? I could not tell if you connected the little bead sections to the bead cap after you put the chain under the cap or did you make little bead sections and add them to the head pin before you bent it into shape?

I made this for a friend. She wore it the other day and I noticed that it has lost that rounded shape and looks more like an elongated O. I don’t like how that looks. Are my stitches too loose?

Hi Tammy - I think gravity and the weight of the tassel might elongate it a bit. You could bead tighter or make your circle smaller.
