no ive driven V6 diesels before and the diesel sound is still quite noticable. although when your cruising its very quiet.

supermanrus on daylight only drl lights are on, the ones at the bottom which look like fog like fog lights but are actually led. the u shape can be turned from button

Hey there..I wanna ask you. I want to buy Mercedes w204, model year 2012 (petrol engine) with manual (6g) gearbox and I found a lot of disturbing infos about this kind of shifting. Some news subscribe that the shifting of first gear is hard. Or bang noise during the push of clutch pedal during the ride. Do you have any experience of that ? I have driven a few manual Mercedes but they have all been diesel, even so I’ve never had any issues with the gearbox when I drove them. I think it’s best to do some research, maybe there is a known fault with some particular model years that I am unaware of but also drive one and see for yourself.

That handbrake setup is daft as hell, I mean it's located exactly where you'd normally rest yur left foot, so silly can't understand why these things can't be left alone in a standard position

I really think to get one of this. Beautiful. And I don't think it's that expensive to fuel. BTW how tall you are? You said you had decent leg and head room on the back seat. How much is the annual service? Of course if there is no something unexpected fault with the turbo,gearbox, engine etc. Just the basic costs like brakes, oil,and filters

I am 6 foot. I don’t know the servicing costs, I think maybe you should find a forum that has reviews from owners because I would only be guessing. I shouldn’t imagine any C class except an AMG been to hard or expensive to maintain and service.

@@daniel16.4 so you should, it’s a very good car and this later facelifted model with the AMG styling pack looks great. The interior is starting to show its age but if you can ignore that you’ll love it.

I got this exact same car mate. Its fucking beautiful can't find a fault yet. Apart from the screen it's dated. Bmws is better. And steering probably better with the beema. Inside though merc wins. And as for speed I've hit 150 in mine with a remap and a plug in

I currently own a mk6 golf 2.0 tdi which is great. However this Mercedes-Benz c220 cdi amg sport plus in white is exactly the same car I'd like to purchase next in manual. Can anyone who owns this vehicle tell me an honest opinion of this vehicle. I have several friends who own a BMW and audi who say the handling is not that great and it's not very fast in comparison.

I own a model 2013 Avantgarde, its amazing and dont compare it too other germans, the W204 is in a class on its own, on top of that its not pretencious its elegant and powerfull in a understated manner, well, thats what i like, and the car is the best i have had, i had 14 other makes and model before.. and never anything as good as this.

@@daniel16.4 there is no c220 at least in europe as far as I know. The c220d is a diesel, while the C250 the usual m271 evo engine. It's a 7g tronic

Guys who own this car or similar models with Xenon lights and Intelligent Light System, be careful when you jet wash your car around the front grill. I sprayed some water on the xenon control unit which is just under the headlight unit and I ended up paying £320 plus labour . There is badly designed because the water gets stuck for long time and the control unit is just flooded all the time.

Shane Earley i'm not too sure about that and i don't want to say anything wrong. I just came out of the garage one hour ago and they said that could be prevented only by taking extra care when washing the headlights.

What is that stick thing with numbers? Really odd, someone paid extra for the PLUS model, but didn't want anything else. As a standard you would want the NAV and COMAND. and maybe the C350 engine lol.
