Nice review Matt. I am looking at the Jr version(GLC-43) of this for family duty (school-karate-sports-dog transport). Wish I could justify the $85k plus price for the 63. I can get the 43 for close to $55k ( CPO less than 15k miles) and with a tune the V6 will conservatively produce 450HP all day. p.s. Did you notice that much difference between the C43/C63 other than the obvious ? Heard you can get the tail out on the 43 as well.

Yeah with the C class, the C43 I drove was very lively but it also had a tune. My wife will likely be leasing a GLC43 next spring as well, she loves Mercedes and our local dealer is awesome. I liked the GLC43 I reviewed last year. Has plenty of power to have fun, but has the SUV practicality the wife wants for future kids in a year or two.

Ah good, one of the people that's still hanging on to something from 4 years ago. For one, she pays for her car herself. Two, a lot can change in 4 years and I've worked hard to improve my situation, which is why I can now afford a 50k Mustang that I bought on my own and will never do another fundraiser.

And like the other people hanging on to this, you wrongly assume things because you don't know the facts. So here's the facts. EcoBoosts depreciate faster than GTs so when I traded in the EcoBoost I just barely came out even, I think I had $500 negative equity I had to cover. So none of that $6,000 downpayment from the EcoBoost carried over. To further prove this, when the GT got hit by the motorcycle, I got a diminished value settlement from the insurance company and that combined with the great offer I got the second time it got hit by the tree allowed me to sell that GT after 1 year for what I owed on it, meaning no negative equity and no positive equity from the fundraiser or anything else. A clean slate. Don't assume to know things you don't know.

Matt I pulled the trigger and will be picking up our GLC43 AMG this afternoon. Black on Black loaded (with sport exhaust and 21 " AMG wheels). I ended up finding a new one that was only a couple grand more than a CPO. SO stoked !!
