Love yr attitude..I’m 67 I finally got my R9…2007 vos lemon burst..it’s excellent cond..still used was close to 4500 bucks usd…But I have slash Les Paul..,a 60’s new one…and this guitar the 59 repro…is just like a warm bath…that year 2007 rumored they used Honduran mahogany..and Rosewood was Different not Indian on fretboard…love yr passion and everything u said is right.lol👍👍👍

I just bought one of these 60th Anniversary ‘59’s. Mine is aged. I don’t know if Tom Murphy did it or not but either way, this instrument is beautiful with a dirty lemon finish and sounds amazing.

I'm picking up my first R9 60th this week. I love lagavulin 16. But you must try the Lakes whisky whisky makers reserve no 5 it's unreal. 52% cask strength non chill filtered. Best whisky I've ever bought. Peace brother

Honest opinion on Indian vs 'Bolivian' Rosewood? Considering Bolivian is a Pau Ferro I'm wondering what your honest opinions on it are!

I wouldn't be able to tell which one is Bolivian or Indian. They look, feel and sound the same. I've got many guitars here and for me Bolivian Pau Ferro is as good as the Indian rosewood on my PRS or Gibson ES-355...

They do sound great! How’s the binding bleed on yours? I have a binding ridge at the upper neck / body and blotchy red dye bleed on the binding there. Looks shoddy for any guitar let alone £5,199

The weights are like the real 59 ‘s ..little over 8…lbs..the finish on my lemon burst is beautiful….yep if at any point in yr life and you have the passion..been playing long long time…this is my Holly grail…the R9….I’ve played a few from different eras and they are pretty consistent..hey it’s a costly endeavor…but to me ,you..worth it….now my wife I’m very friendly with all the chores..yes hun..no problem.lol👍❤️

Hey excellent review! Really enjoy your videos. I was wondering how this Les Paul model compared to the Mccarty 594 you have and if you have any preference.

It's not an easy question! I like them both! The 594 plays better as it has easier access to the higher frets and I prefer the intonation, tuning stability and fretwork on it. The Les Paul has fatter, warmer sound with longer sustain. I might record a comparison video with those two guitars ;-)
