Traded up my Z400 for the Z500 SE. 5-7" 66 year old riding since 15. Love it. Love the extra torque. Love the flatter seat than the Z400. Fast if you want it.. smooth and predicable handling.

How does it fit Florian? I'm looking for a lighter-weight street bike that can still do limited highway miles that would also fit me at 6'2"/32" inseam.

It will do fine. After it’s properly broken in you can ride it all day long on the interstates day after day without experiencing any issues. Kawasaki’s have great engines!

For reference, I’m 6’ 3” with a 34” inseam and bought a 2023 Z400 earlier this year. I fit alight. Certainly not as much room as something like a KLR650 or Super Tenere, but the seating position is still comfortable. Search online for a review of the Z400 by Revzilla. They have photos of Spurgeon riding it. I believe he’s about 6’ 3” also. The OEM seat is pretty lousy; the rider slides forward into the gas tank. Norton Motorsports makes a replacement that raises the seat a bit and flattens it out. Send your seat to them, and they refit it. I plan on doing that over the winter.
