I really want to build that Kriss Vector. It just looks totally sick! I got to play with a ValTek one and I was very impressed with it.

Gotta love the classic criss-vector design, and I must've missed reviews of the quik cause this is the first one I've seen of it. I love the front profile on it though.

Though you mentioned that motor selection won't make a big difference, it may actually explain the lower shots out of Vector here even if most shots were squarely around 180. Both blasters have similar barrel lengths, but even though Krakens (on paper) should spin the flywheels fast enough to get 200 FPS, this is a much slimmer margin than the 42ks. Since a higher ROF will slow your flywheels down more, you'd likely lose a bit of velocity when firing long bursts or mag dumps. It probably won't be super noticeable because of the advancements we've made in wheel and motor specs, and there are definitely other cheaper options you can pick over BB's own motors that will get to a similar RPM range (mostly Worker's motors). Either way, great to see you posting on these! Never mind on being late to the party, it's good that you've been able to get active with content again in the first place.

I would agree with this. It did seem like the BB 42's were a bit better, but would be best to test this with the exact same blaster and semi auto. Thanks for the comment.

@@NaptownNerf I think it should be fine on semi for most people, even if I'm personally a bit more picky. Do note that these wheels max out at 190 FPS with Worker HE instead (though that's no big issue IMO, it adds headroom for stricter FPS caps and HEs are heavier than DZ's stuff anyways so they keep their velocity a bit better.

Pro tip, to chrono full autos, just load mags with 1 dart.

This looks great, as I am a fan of the vector aesthetically, but couldn't they have mounted the flywheel cage vertically with a slight modification? I think it would match with the vector's profile better and since the vector already fires from the bottom of the rectangle on the front, it would just make it more accurate to the real one. Great blasters and great video, just questions.

also i can see that the cage is perpendicular to the magazine well but i think you could print the cage vertically maybe

Go check out some pictures of the flycore. Without essentially rebuilding the front half of the flycore

Because it uses the Flycore system the flywheels have to be horizontal. There isn't a version with vertical fly wheels at this time. That being said, you could used very small flywheels and it wouldn't be nearly as noticeable. It would just get a less performance.
