Review and Demonstration : Zanussi Lindo ZWF81441w 8kg 1400 spin washing machine

A full review and Demonstration of the cotton 60'c program, it has a Aquafall system which allows the water to soak straight into the clothes, as well as the detergent. so non is wasted, however i was taken back by its 2 rinses. wheres the 3rd?

Would you recommend this or the Bosch WAB24161GB? Looking for a fairly cheap basic washer from a decent brand. Seems like the Zanussi has more bells and whistles, but I suppose quality comes first.

The zanussi has a bigger capacity at 8kg fast spin at 1400rpm. More programs and options. But the bosch will physically wash better from my experiance. Bosch = better build quality.

@@whichwasher2007 Cheers. Machine I have atm had to have the counter weight replaced in it recently, luckily I had a spare counter weight from a different Zanussi. It was pretty impressive how long it stayed at 1400. I guess zanussi is just trying to wear the bearings faster so you have to buy a new machine quicker.

Bob Surrey yes that is true but the brushes would be the first to go before the bearings at that length of time.

The brushes at this speed would wear out much quicker than normal. But ive seen machines spin at 1300rpm and above for over 10 minutes.

Does this newer washers heat up the water once to the selected temperature then wash? Or they would keep the heating element on to keep the water warm for some designated time?

Depends on the program and wash option selected. So there is 4 ways a machine heats. Heat and maintain. Where it will heat and periodically heat back up during wash. Heat and wash. Where it will heat to temp then wash for a specified time. Usually without re heating. Heat and drain. So heats to temp then ends the wash stage. And timed heat. Where it will switch on the heater for a certain amount of time. And switch off regardless of tempreture.

How weird , my sister's Zanussi usually barely spins even when its slightly unbalanced but this one surprisingly doesnt seem to do that

It just adds to bliss effect. You can here the door clack. Button push and dial clicking sounds better.

I got a Zanussi washing machine but on 1400 spin, it goes mad and it will go so loud. Idk if that makes sense but on 800 it's fine. Edit: I got a much different machine.

If you have the last generation of machines. Iv got a 1200 spin and on 900rpm its fine at 1000rpm the top of the machine shakes like mad.

It's not even one bit same. Zanussi Lindo 300 changes 3 rhythms on Cottons and Cotton Eco. One is while sensing: it does very short, quick tumbles. After the sensing (usually about 7 minutes), it switches to longer, faster tumbles with a long pause. After the heating is complete, it switches to 35/4 tumbles. Every 5 seconds it changes the speed from fast, almost spin-like to a lot slower and then vice versa. The Lindo 100 is much like Beko. It completes the whole wash with one pattern.
