kind of annoying you cant get the tubes open stock, but having them in sets is prob cheaper for them to produce and sell

Yeah it’s cheaper to buy the first set but then once a color run out, our choices would be to either go for another brand or get another set. The smallest set they have is 24 colors which is still a lot for gouache

@@fuzzydragons I agree, like there some pretty cool colors in the 60 set, but who tf uses metallic paint, there might be sum ppl who use it or maybe sumtimes its needed, but putting in a set is very unnecessary

i rarely use metallics, not much point unless a client ask for me to use them so metallics in sets are pointless (for me at least)

@@fuzzydragons true, on top of the metallic are always thin and transparent which I hate, I understand if it was watercolors but w/ gouche and/or acrylics, there's no way I'm able to use that, if ppl want metallics they should put metallics in separate sets and not a set I expect to use a lot

How do you compare this to jelly gouache?

I haven’t tested a jelly gouache set properly yet. I’ll let you know once I do 😊

The jelly gouache is thicker so good for layering but you have to work the paint to get the right consistency.

I say that the Arteza are vastly better than HIMI. I HAVE USED both in the same painting 🖌️ and the jelly gouache is streaky and gloopy and the finish is not as matte. For me,Arteza wins 🎉
