In the end, I like the EMD M, I, and MAC style locomotives. Especially their Wide Cabs. The EMD Wide Cabs before the Notched nose design are all great.

Very impressive and attractive model of the sd80mac from Athearn Genesis, the sd80mac is one of my personal favorite emd ac traction locomotives and I am pleased to see that another manufacturer has produced this locomotive model in ho scale aside from Kato. The Athearn Genesis 2.0 series is incredible with their improved locomotive detail features as the Genesis series has produced many incredible locomotive models over the past 5 years from my perspective.

SUPER BEAUTIFUL MODEL, ONLY THE YELLOW DEFROSTERS ON THE FRONT WINDOWS ARE MISSING,HE ALSO LACKS THE LIGHTS THAT ILLUMINATE THE TROLLEYS AND THE 4 LADDERS,AND THE CHAIN THAT CONNECTS THE LEVER OF THE MANUAL RELEASE TO THE FRONT HOOK

Athearn Locos can be configured to start only when throttle is applied or F26.When fitted with Soundtraxx.Another good feature is the braking options,you may like to discuss next time.Otherwise, nice review.
