Hello, BWL make excellent model’s, I have 3 one is a track mobile. I was looking through their channel yesterday and came across one of the steam locomotives being demonstrated, pulling 8 house bricks, it was the Paragon 2 decoder, just amazed me. Have a great day, cheers , regards Gary 😊

Don’t get me wrong up 3985 being restored is awesome but I would also love to see 5511 restored as well, I mean come one it will probably be the last 10 coupled steam locomotive to ever run, and if anybody says otherwise then pls leave this UP

Darn. I wish I had seen this review earlier. I am visiting my brother in CT, and this morning he drove down to Essex to ride on the Connecticut Valley RR (Essex Steam Train and Riverboat). A Mikado pulled our train! Super fun day, and I get to see a Mikado again.

Got one today. Went over a switch and I heard a loud pop and the tender started smoking. How would I fix this.

Anyone else find BLI quite sensitive to dirty track? I love my BLI's but they tend to stop on the slightest bit of dirt.

warpo007 I have a couple Broadway limited locos. The reason for the stalling is super poor contacts on the loco itself. The brass hybrid I had pick ups only 4 of the 6 tender wheels. Absolutely none on the driver's. Adding springs to the bushings fixed the issue. Same with my 4-6-2. It takes a little work but it is fixable.

I very much appreciate your reviews, Do them as you see fit. Trying to please others is like a dog chasing its own tail. Pointing out specific details will satisfy some and irritate others, as an example. If they can't over-look something and whine about it, let them do their own videos to be picked apart by the critics.

I am a huge fan of Broadway products but I see on this run they keep removing details. No engineer & fireman, removed rear light on tender as all my others have this light and the deck plate between the tender is now missing.

Steve O'Such, I was going to mention that myself, but you beat me to it! The ten foot (scale) gap between engine and tender is starting to look like an MTH O gauge "toy train"...! Really, steam locomotives ran with no PEEPS ...? Don't really understand that one ...

I'll watch the videos regardless, but I do miss the details. James didn't get to tell us about missing the crew in the cab this time. I guess it's a ghost train. Also, someone else mentioned the tender deck plate is missing. I like BLI too, but c'mon let James tell us about the details. I miss that part. Cheers, Dan

I STILL do not know why they (manufacturers) do not add smoke to their steam engines! Yes I do understand not everyone likes them, but the fact remains that there are MORE of us who love it/prefer to use it! I just cannot understand this. Kills me!

On this one they said the boiler dimensions were too small for their smoke unit. Broadway puts synchronized puffing smoke in almost everything else.
