My wife bought me the red version for my 70th birthday next march she let me play with it and I Charged it up to full I have put it back in the box so I will have to wait until my birthday but it will be something to look forward to also to see how the power saving holds up until I let it out from the dark 😊update my wife has let me have the watch now so I can enjoy it I most be looking bad she told me just in case you don’t make it to your 70th birthday. After having a bit of trouble downloading the software update from the Casio app to fix a problem with the automatic time, update at night, every function on the watch is working correctly now

You're right it can't show notifications, but it can syncronize with the phone to show you some info without pulling out the phone (for example: you can mark a spot on the map and the watch can show you where to go) i know that because i have this watch

When are Casio bringing out a new Gulf Master?

You forgot to mention that this Mudmaster's compass has an automatic horizontal, magnetic declination and orientation correction function. This is a very useful feature, that Casio first implemented in the Gulfmaster GWN-Q1000 and Frogman GWF-D1000B. I didn't understand why Casio hadn't implemented this functionality in the Mudmaster GWG-1000 and GWG-2000.

It is the first time that I am hearing that it has notifications (msg, phonecalls etc) from the connected phone. Is this correct, can it be confirmed?

I have the green version. The notification that it can give you it's when there are sudden changes in the barometric pressure and thats good when you are in the jungle, forest or in the coast 😊

This watch DOES NOT HAVE NOTIFICATIONS of calls, messages, etc. It was incorrectly stated in the video.

I am curious about how did you vome up with the capable for diving up to 10m spec.? Is this writen in the manual? It makes no sense as 20 bars corresponds to 200m and even if Casio's watterproofing spec is not as stringent as real diving watches, it cannot be that far off, i.e. from a theoretical 200m to only 10m, that would be a joke.

I was curious and looked it up on Casio's website and even though it does not mention 10m per se, the pics it uses imply that you can go underwater but not with scuba, so 10m would be about right:) But that's a bit of a joke on Casio's part, I mean 200m water resistance meaning about 10m water proofing (without button pushing)...

@@yianpap6093Excuse me sir, all G Shocks are 200m. ALL of them. It’s not for professional diving. But showering, swimming, and whatnot is totally fine. They’ll surprise you with how durable they are.

This watch has now been withdrawn for sale in the U.K. because of a software problem which is to do with the atomic atomic clock radio atomic time update which is supposed to happen at night when you open your app for the watch the is a software update available I uploaded to my watch yesterday and but it didn’t not receive the time signal last night it will do it manually I will try again to night to see what happens I do not no how casio let this problem get past quality control, 😢

I have GWG-B1000EC-1ER and I also have GWG-2000-1ER... GWG-B1000 may have a better design and some features but it is much smaller and I don't like that, such a watch should and must look robust and big like its older brothers GWG 1000 and the GWG 2000...I think with the GWG-B1000 G-SHOCK lost credibility because of that, at least for me...I wear the GWG-2000 all the time, while the GWG-B1000 is in the box...pay attention to the size; GWG-1000=L, GWG-2000=M, GWG-B1000=S...
