Love love the curlsmith on you. Its fantastic you get such great hold and definition. To avoid a little of the shrinkage you should pair it with a moisture rich leav-in! Try the camille rose twisting butter! Its excellent for moisture and elongation!!

When you said ima see y’all next week when it airdries 🤣 that’s literally how it be! Your hair looks good, but I think it’s looked better. Your hair is super shiny though. Whew chile for that price it shoulda been everything and more. I need a super hold gel, my curls demand it. I need my definition and for if fo last 🤗 Great video ❤️

To be honest I didn’t really like the results. Your hair has looked better with other products. Your hair looks shiny tho 😍 but I feel like the product is overhyped. Amazing review as always ❤️

I think this product works really well, especially after it's been on for at least a whole day (it gets better as it sits). But, it's not for me. My hair was crunchy on first application, on day 1 results were just average but sticky. But, I've never in my life had such lovely, soft curls like I did using this on day 2 (and i had no more crunchiness or stickiness). If the day 2 results would happen on day 1, I would purchase gallons of this. The problem for me is just that I wash my hair every day, so I'm never going to realistically have those day-2 results. Plus the product is way too sticky for me because I have to wash my hands everytime I touch my hair, and I do fidget with it a lot. I also am not sure whether I may have used too much of the product. My hair is type 2a or 2B.

You should give it another try with the Hold Me Softly Style Balm under the gel

THHHISSSS is the video I was looking for!! I have the same curl pattern and I was searccchhhiiinnnngggg for how it tried on type 3 curls. It holds it very nicely. If you can do a video on which moisturizers pair well with this gel..I’d love you forever. #NewSubHere!

Hi, I am new to your channel. I like your videos. Have you tried the Curlsmith CoWash. What products would you recommend from that line. I like a middle hold because I wash my hair once a week and I want it to last at lease four to five days. Thank you for this video.

Thanks so much for subscribing! & I never tried their co-wash before. With this brand, the only product with a hold would be the in shower fixer. I tried their styling balm, but that is on the softer side.

@@EliElizabethh OMG, yesterday I purchased the curlsmith cowash and double quench deep conditioner and the shower fixer. OMG, my curls are so hydrated and shinny. I know I will be getting at least 5 days out of my wash and go. Only thing about the curlsmith products is that they are very thick and a little goes a long way. Thank you so much.

I had a good experience with this gel *once* and this the next few times I used it I had your experience- it immediately made my hair flashy which I hate the feeling of working with but I’ve found doesn’t necessarily mean I’ll get bad results - what I mean is: if I’m not rushed and I have flash drying then I will rinse my stylers out and restart adding my styling products, but on the 2nd go-around, I make sure there’s no protein in my products bc I find that’s usually the culprit when my hair flash dries. But if I’m rushed, I just push through the flash drying and I usually get just as good results. Also, the Style Fixer does leave a producty film on my hair if I use too much.

Curlsmith is not an all that brand. I’ve used two of their products and it was “ok” not worth to spend the money on. Do you think it compared to the Soultanicals Freeze Supa Hold gel you tried?

Hold wise, both those gels do provide a strong cast. The Soultanicals gel is wayyyy better. I didn't care too much for this one.

i found it very '"sticky". i didn't like the cast it had after. not very soft. i will have to try again. glad i only got the mini size, and not the huge one. i didn't like it for me. :(
