interesting, looks like that new nose flap design is 3D printed too! I assume out of a rubber-like material... I wonder how complicated it would be to make a 3D printed mold or something and make them out of silicone instead, and if that would even be any better.

Yep, it's from TPU. The old design as also 3D printed btw, I was using Varioshore TPU for that one, incorrectly thinking that it's softer. By moulding, I guess one could make the nose flap softer, but that can be partly achieved by printing it thinner. It would be interesting to try it out but sounds like too much work making it in larger scale. Another option one could try would be to cut out the nose flaps from a sheet of rubber.
