Hey, i use Steamlink and wanted to use the Index Controllers with 3x Vive Trackers for Fullbodytracking. The Problem is i cant disable the Pro Controllers so i can use the Index only...

calibration seems to work but I can never get the index controller in the virtual space to line up with the real one, its always a bit off and it slowly drifts even further as its used bigger issue now: if I take the headset off at all, it immediately "forgets" where the index controllers are supposed to be and they have to be recalibrated all over again

From how the one statement you made, the OG 2016 Vive headset can be used as the dongles. Am i wrong with that?

So, can I use my old index as a substitute for the dongles?

This refreshes my memory so much. I do have a question though. I just had gotten my Vive XR Elite recently. I’m waiting for other part to come in such as the dongles for the index controllers and display port adapters to plug in my new vr to my graphics…would you think that I am able to repeat these steps with a different headset such as the Vive xr elite?

You helped so much because my quest three controllers have lost its tracking and completely broken Now that I can get the valve index controllers, I can play with hand tracking and with the controller and have fun.

how would i use a Vive as Dongle ? im using a quest 3 i already have Full body and 3 dongles for that i got Knuckles today now im shit out of luck since i cant connect them u said a vive can be a dongle aswell just connect the thing or how does that work exactly ?

Hey quick questions. Everything worked perfectly. But i noticed my controllers tend to jump around in place where it ruins my aim in most shooters. Would you happen to know why its doing that? Its unable to main tain still even if i am holding very still

It seems that either you can have index controllers paired to the quest 3, or 3 vive trackers, but I can't get my trackers and knuckles to work at the same time 😔

Maybe a dumb question, but i got laser eye surgery and took my oculus dk2 out of storage and it was much clearer now that my vision is good so i decided to use it now. But I don't have controllers. Would valve index work with a headset that old? The DK2 only has like head and neck/shoulder tracking for reference.

Thankyou so much for this video. I was trying to figure out space calibrator with just the text, but I didn't realize I needed to hold the two things together in one hand. Instead of the index controllers, I did this with my hp g2 controllers and full body trackers, and it worked like a charm.
