What's very apparent in the background is that hum which I'm assuming is from the amp. That might fly for electric guitar but not acoustic. Maybe the effects pedals?

Why doesn't ANYONE just STRUM the guitar when trying out amps? The vast majority of guitar players are going to be strumming, not finger picking. Also, this is supposed to be a small PA system, SING THROUGH THE DAMN THING!! How am I supposed to be able to tell what vocals sound like if nobody sings through any of these?
