@@azertyqwerty1317 Hi. If you choose to use a over drive or distortion pedal in front of the amp, you can achieve VH tones. This amp is a perfect platform for using different pedals. I have an Orange AD30HTC with 2x12 cabinet that I've used for live shows and recording for the past seven years. I have kids now, so I don't play out or record nearly as much as I used to. I bought a Peavey Classic 30 to use for nights when I'm sitting in with a band for 3 or 4 songs, as I didn't want to haul the Orange rig for a few songs. I've found myself using the Peavey a lot more than I'd planned. I even used it for my entire last recording session. Many would think it crazy to reach for a Peavey when I have a fire breathing Orange to choose, but the Peavey sounds damn good!

lol im waiting for the guy who critisizes the demo saying gravity has an effect on "tone."
@nicwilson898 жыл бұрын
It's true, When faced directly upwards, the effect of gravity pulling down the air the speaker is trying to push upwards results in a slightly more physically compressed tone. Think the Doppler effect. This means that when...I'm sorry, I couldn't even finish that. I tried, honestly, I tried... :p

+Mister Knight Owl here's a nerd quiz for you, what color is the reflective light from an object moving towards you? and what color is it when it moves away?
@soundknight8 жыл бұрын
+Nic Wilson the table the amp is on will have an extremely tiny effect on it because it's reflective surface on the out of phase side of the speaker movement. Also sound travels at something like 1600kmph so it won't be affected by gravity until a certain height where it will be drained of energy and no you probably couldn't notice a difference. Fun thoughts.

I'll tell you the one no one knows about: The Duel 212. it also bears a Classic plate like the other tweed ones. four 6l6 and four 12ax7. 120 watts of essentially Fender Twin sound. also about 100 pounds and awful to have to move. Sounds like there is a very heavy compressor on this recording. Whenever he plays with the reverb, you can barely hear it, but then after he stops playing & silences the strings the reverb becomes really loud (especially at 5:15 -17 & again at 5:42-46). Not a very good way to accurately demo the amp if that's the case. Tells you more what his compressor sounds like.

Somebody told me that, when you finish a gig and the amp is hot, you must handle it with extremely care. He told me the main reason is that, when is hot, if you move it with not finesse, you can break the bulbs filament and it is very common. And it is one of its weak points and is isn´t long lasting ¿Is it true? Thank you, friend. And congratulations for your channel. Now I´m one of your followers. Rock and roll or dead
