I have the original flex volt version of this bad Larry and it definitely gets the job done and is super light weight/portable. Can’t beat it. I do wish I could run XR batteries in mine but apparently the flex volt advantage version that you have is a tad bit weaker when it comes to cfm’s when running XR batteries vs. FLEXVOLT Batteries. Either way, great compressor for what it is.

Your right about taking time to air up, I have a 6 amp battery and it drained the battery really fast, I got the 9 amp but haven't used it yet, maybe the 12 amp is better again

I mostly use Cordless Paslode Gas Nailers framing and finish but I need a little compressor to run a siding nailer I wonder will this keep up.

I use the flexvolt version runs perfect for siding nailers if you got 12ah batteries will last all day

The waiting time to air this up might not be an issue at all depending on your building style. If you are a pro, and framing a wall in one go, then it might slow you down. But if you are also measuring, cutting and drawing in between then there will be plenty of time to air it up while you are doing something else The real limitation might be the battery. Waiting 2 minutes to air it up is okay, waiting 30 for the battery to recharge might be worse. Not sure how long it takes the deplete the battery with normal use, if it is more than the recharge time then it is all good, as you can just swap 2 batteries, and you don’t need more. I have a DeWalt circular saw, which is very intense on the battery. It can be gone in 2 minutes, also overheating it which delays the recharge. This is probably not as intense, but looking forwards for your real world test with framing to see.

Agreed. We always have multiple batteries on hand so not so much of a worry for us but I see your point

Warning about cust svc, I bought one from Home Depot and the battery would not charge at all, then I called customer service and in broken english someone asked me to spell my name one letter at time and then interminable details and not answering any questions or even an english speaker one can talk to. And PS, anyone knows this compressor isnt a work tool for production, you'd need a battery charger and change of batteries going continuously and at nearly 100 bucks for a battery. This is a light duty tool. And he edits out the run time so his vid isnt all just the bzzz of the inadequate air supply.
