Hi Harry! Your reviews are second to none. Everything is explained clearly and played with a very good taste. Thank you so much.

Also, if you're having a hard time setting a precise tempo, I use an external switch box with smooth, non latching switches (no click). Then, by using your HAND, you can tap in a more precise tempo. I always use a metronome.

yes you can for example store your loop in 20 and then make a copy in 21, modify 21 to your taste and now you can go up and down, when you switch the loop will start directly it easy

I also wonder whether it's possible to use several loop-slots at the same time - for example to record drums on slot 1, guitar on slot 2, backing-vocals on slot 3 and then turn them on and off seperately while you play. Great review by the way!

The digitech jamman has pre-installed song / patterns which you can use to make your own song. These patterns are already filled with the drum & bass, u can select if you want to use the drum or the bass for each pattern or record this yourself.

Yes, the up and down can be used in real time...you can pre record different parts of a song like: verse 1, verse 2, bridge, chorus, coda...and then play them in the order you want without stopping the song. Every loop will start in time with the tempo that it was recorded to, the loop will play complete and then the next will start in sync. I don't know why Bax-shop.nl says it can't be done.
@philspill68545 жыл бұрын

yes, but you must stop a loop to save it so you can’t do it live, you must do it before you perform (it’s more like a backing track)..

Can I use the Loop up and Loop down in real time/live. ie: To loop a main part in loop 20 for example, and then a bridge in Loop 21 and then go back and forth without having to start/start each loop? So I guess the question is, when using the loop up and down buttons, do the presets automatically start?

Hey, could you adjust the tempo while playing on stage, in case the drummer is out of timing? I know there is a tap tempo function, but for the Boss Loop Station, for example, it was impossible to match the beat. It was still a little bit too slow or too fast... I could do nothing about it. Also i had the feeling that it only "understood" 4/4...

So am I able to save my recording onto PC after I create them? I need a loop pedal where I can save things. The $99 loops pedals can't do it,
@zekefriedeman70111 жыл бұрын
Does anyone who has the pedal know if you can start a loop on a channel (19 for instance) go to another channel and make another loop while the one on 19 is still playing, so that if you wanted to stop one loop you could keep the other going?

What I'd love to do with this pedal is have say 10 different loops, the first one is the intro, the second one is the verse, the third one the chorus, the fourth one repeats the verse, the fifth one repeats the chorus, and so on... The point is, I'd love to only have to press loop up to change between the 99 tracks, and some of the tracks repeat them selves, but are stored in different positions so it's more convenient. Is this possible with this looper? It seems promising ;)

Hi, how are you able to playback the stuff clean while playing distorted solo over it at the same time? Do you use two amps? Thanks
@baxshop9 жыл бұрын
+Adi Pplayer I dont know which part you really mean, but the amp has two channels; OD and clean.
@garyh35219 жыл бұрын
Yes, but it depends on where you place the JamMan in the effect chain. A good place will be the last device in the Effect loop since JamMan will record all sounds after the preamp and effects
@adipplayer39929 жыл бұрын
True. I have a jam man now and it records whatever comes before the looper in pedal chain e.g chorus, delay, distortion etc. which is good cause you can choose whether you want a recorded track with or without an effect. All you need to do is to place the jam man in certain place in effect chain.
@Tvaroh8 жыл бұрын
+Adi Pplayer so that setup doesn't cause power amp to go crazy?
@adipplayer39928 жыл бұрын
No it didn't with marshall jcm and peavey classic combos. I tried both set ups, a jam man and chorus/delay connected to an amps' loop in the first one and the same combination of effects plugged into amps' standard preamp input in the second one. If you want your guitar pedal to affect your recorded loop just put it before jam man in your chain.

@Ston2479 жыл бұрын
People ! I just purchased the Jamman Solo xt and here's what I found. There's no way to isolate the rhythm track. The Jamman Stereo has a separate Headphone jack and a dedicated rhythm out jack ! If you're gonna work with a drummer, he has to be able to hear the count. This way your band can stay in sync. The Jamman XT can't do this. I tried to jam with a drummer without him listening to the click track....it was a disaster! I think I've found a reason to hang on to my Jamman Stereo.

Can you just record a rhythm pattern LIVE,and then play a lead along with it,and then go back to just the rhythm again,next time around on the fly? I need something that will work with the simplicity of an Echoplex.... I have a trio band,and all I really need it for is to be that 4th piece at will to do the rhythm backup during my leads...
@Ston24711 жыл бұрын
I agree with willie941. The PRIMARY REASON why a working(or semi-working) musician would buy a looper is the ability to access song changes and turn-arounds in real time with a single click! (Verse-chorus-verse-bridge-chorus). The BOSS can't do that! You have to HOLD down the external footswitch. When I'm singing and playing rhythm guitar,I don't have time to think about when my Funk line is going to start. Or,"Gee wiz Batman. Is the bridge going to come in on time"? Bub-buy Boss.... hello JamMan!
