I mean there is a reason 1 thru 10 and 12 are still my favorites. I barley remember playing 15 and it had some game breaking ways to level up fast.

That's exactly my thoughts. I think the series has gone downhill since X. And I really disliked how 15 was all about the guys.

Thanks for the review. It gets into the discussion of if FF16 is, "really a FF game," that I've seen some people talking about. I think it clearly is a FF game, but it's definitely stretching the boundaries in so many ways that it's a reasonable question to ask. Cidolfus looking like a "fantasy Nathan Drake" was perfect and I can't believe I didn't see it before!

Thanks for watching, I really appreciate it! It is stretching the boundaries - which can sometimes be a good thing, but it feels like it's going too far away from its roots. It would be better to refine the frustrating aspects of the game instead. And I'm glad I gave you a laugh about Nate Drake 😂

FF 16 is an amalgamation of Game of Thrones, Devil May Cry, God of War, and Final Fantasy. I love this amalgamation!

Ha! If you love all those games then it's perfect. I wasn't much of a Devil May Cry fan which is why I've bounced off it so hard. But I'm glad you're enjoying it 😁

i think because there's themes of slavery, it's okay that there's not a lot of diversity.

I think it's up for debate - it certainly makes it more complex and challenging to tell the story, but at the same time, a bit more diversity around NPCs wouldn't be a bad thing.
