Awesome! It's not a bad car. I'm not a fan of the load it comes with so I will adjust it to look like a scrap load. I also wished the bracket wasn't in the middle and above one of the trucks however it runs pretty smooth and the picture quality isn't terrible.

I installed a spycam years ago in a F7A but the sound quality was horrible due to it being inside the shell.

Something that I always want in a camera car is for the lens to pan with the angle of the trucks. It makes me nauseous to see a camera car go around curves because you end up looking more the side the train is curving away from. Neat car but I wish it was better.

I hear you on that one. I have a F7 dummy locomotive I installed a spy camera in that I glued in place of where the engineer would sit. It kind of does the same but the lens perspective isn't centered on the tracks but the audio recording is very muffled as it's inside a shell where this one is out in the open which is why I don't run it much. I would have to butcher the side of the shell to locate the mic on the recording device inside that one.

That’s a great looking car in a nice looking case and it had a lot of nice detail even without those other parts. What did you think of the image quality? Was it top heavy on the track like when it fell over when you were holding it?

Thanks Derek! It is a little top heavy because I was holding it on the side and the load inside isn't snug. I am hoping that I can convert the load to be more of a scrap load which should help weigh it down some but not sure if it will be enough.

I wonder how it would look to have it in front of the loco facing back to watch the switching? How much are they asking?

As long as you don't see the end of the gondola, I am sure it would look ok being in front of the locomotive. I kind of like the look of the train going around the curves. It might of look better with another gondola or flat car with a small load in front of it to see more action. Something to always test in the future.

If you're talking OBS then it has to be wi-fi capable as well, not just a camera/sd lash up, correct Jason?

Thanks Andy! I was actually recording this via WiFi to my cell phone. I am thinking recording to MicroSD will allow a better picture as it does have 4K recording capabilites.

Thanks! Not sure if I can tweak it, there is some playing around I can do with this to see what it's like. As it went by the FTs, it seemed like the Mic was on the backside of the camera.
