Review: Fujifilm Finepix HS20 EXT (Which?)

fuji hs 20 or cannon 1100d ? I just received the canon but I'm not so happy with what can make.I don't like the video mode, the zoom is so small and the macro is not going so close to the object. Do you think the fuji can do better?

Can I mark and delete more images in galery? because it takes lots of time whan you delet just one picture :(.

Thanx for this very well done video about the HS20EXR . I own a HS10 and have been baffled with it's technology and quality, I also won a few photo contests .Some of the plastic buttons' print are starting to fade from being handled often , that is a small negative aspect. I'm about to buy the HS20 . Cheers !

I bought a HS 20EXR from local e-bay site. Seller sent me a desktop tripod which cannot handle HS20 and also sent me a bag which made for FX series lol . But HS20 is good for photoshooting , inspite of video focusing problem.

The HS20EXR is mind boggling, and for the price point, it is also a steal of a deal!

I recently bought a new Fujifilm HS20EXR (not EXT; check owner's manual or website for clarification.). I've owned many cameras & my 2 favorite brands are Canon & Fujifilm. Both build amazing cameras; however, Canons that are marketed against the HS20EXR cost 45-75%(+) more. I own a Canon EOS Rebel T2i, & now a new HS20EXR (both for my company). The HS20EXR has a myriad of options, except the '24mm-720mm' lens is permanent. An amazing camera other wise, & for under $600, it's a bargain!

I owned the HS10 and thought it wasn't as good as hoped. I would just spend that little extra for an entry level DSLR. If you're really bothered about video get a video camera.

No it is not. I have the Fuji HS10 and a Nikon D7000 with a 70 x 200 f2.8 VR II lens. You cannot get the variations in depth of field with a fixed lens SLR. I use the Fuji for when I travel. When I shoot sporting events, I use my Nikon. Check out my FB page Photos by Gene/Victory65 Media or my KZbin channel. I have images from both the Nikon and the Fuji, and you can see a big difference in quality. I hope this helped.

I just wish they did something about there batteries. They should make the battery to a battery that you can charge it I'm have to buy four battery's because I use mine a lot

The Fuji HS20 is the best bridgecamera you can buy now.

You can buy rechargeble batteries ofcourse....

I HAVE THE FUJIFILM HS10, IF THIS CAMERA HAVE THE SAME LENSES, THE WIDE LENSES OF THIS MACHINE IS TOO UGLY! THE NORMAL AND TELE ARE GOODS, BUT! THE RING ZOOM AND THE WIDE LENSE OF THIS MACHINE ARE VERY VERY VERY BAD. WHEN I BUY MY MACHINE I WAS VERY EXCITED BUT WHEN I EXPLORE EVERYTHING OF THIS MACHINE I DISCOVERED THAT PROBLEM IN THE LENSE!
