Too cool, always see demos for guitarists. Great to see real bassists demo the same gear.

We previously did a Fuzz Wars with four old Sovteks and in our ears, the BGP did not sound at all like an actual old Sovtek. We shot both Fuzz Wars in one day and we spent hours going over the pedals we were going to demo that day. As far as the dip switches, we will mess with them some and let you know what we come up with.

Nice to see a Wounded Paw pedal! I was curious about this one, but I decided it wasn't for me. It would be interesting to see their other bass fuzz pedal, the Attack Goat. It seems very interesting.

I will look into it.

the BGP sounds way more like an actual old Sovtek. The W&C is a great pedal and its designed to have that huge bottom end, but its not a spot on clone. It sacrifices clarity for oomph. The BGP also has some dip switches inside that are designed to shift it to a bass-oriented EQ. I own both, love both, just thought I'd add my personal impressions of each. (I'm a guitar player tho FWIW)

I hate that you guys didn't explore the Battering Ram more. It's an amazing pedal that's super flexible and kills in the mix.

have you tried the russlon fuzz by orion effects? just stumbled upon that on the internet, it's also a sovtek clone as far as i understood and i would really like to know if it's any good... do you know something about that one?

Tall Font is a dope Sovtek type fuzz, but when I got the Box of WAr which is a clone of the civil war, It has yet to come off my board.

FWIW, I know that the ARC BGP is actually a complete clone of an old Tall Font Sovtek. Each component was measured in the original pedal for an accurate comparison. But, then, two DIP switches were added for further variance. BUT, then again, Sovtek didn't really have much in the way of QC, so like, the variance between pedal to pedal is quite ridiculous.
