Yes, that is a new Squire. Fender had a few at a Bass Player Live clinic and I played the one in the rack and had to have it. It is pretty tight and my friend, Wildog from Ozo used it and loves it. Good run of basses in that Squire line right now.

I could watch this sh*t for days.. The approach in demo-ing these pedals is less sterile than other sites. Plus, the majority of sound samples online are people playing the most uninspired knock-off riffs and not exploring the potential of each device. Thank you for taking the time to do this and having fun while you do it! More please:)

I love that Fuzz Against the Machine sound. Wish I could find the pedal somewhere!

I don't own a bass with active electronics. There are many videos that have active basses here on youtube.

I was rolling at the beginning of this video because I just got an tc flashback mini and literally snuck it in the house and put it on my board lol

Note: That little Malekko Fuzz is actually based on the Super Fuzz. The Middle slot where Janek had it set up to is the mix of both of the Super Fuzz's Tone Selections, both high and low.

I think Ampeg makes the best bass amps in the world. I was using my 2x10 combo in this video and it had a ton of low end. You also could try getting an Exotic EQ pedal to add more low end.

You hear just the pedal. No blend or clean signal.

If you do another vid with Janek, tell him to keep doing teh same riff :P Makes it a bit easier to actually determine the differences between the pedals :P Great stuff though. Can't wait for part 5! :D

Squier Classic Vibe though, is fantastic and affordable. I've been playing my CV Jazz for like 3 years now (in a loud hard rock band, at least 3 times a week) and it's kicking some serious ass.

Juan, I know you are a P-Bass enthusiast, but would be realy nice if we could hear how all those Fuzz boxes interact with Active Circuits (since they are so picky with what impedance they are attached to). Would you mind? Gracias de antemano, Mario Souza Lima

That Fuzz against the machine is Killer. Very Tim Commerford. Exactly what I want. How can I buy it please?
@MrGlobalcheese8 жыл бұрын
Guys great Channel thanks. You mentioned we can buy the stuff you demo, but your website is very difficult to use, in fact you can't click on anything to find the product to buy. Just letting you know you'll need to fix it so we can buy stuff.

You wouldn't think so but as long as you have a decent rig... Dean's metal bass series sound great. My RIC was in the shop for a very long time and for $200 I bout a dean Vbass and it sounds amazing through my SVT4-PRO. No replacement for a RIC but I can't believe how well it plays and sounds. Thy mimic classic popular body types like: Thunderbird, V, Explorer ect...

Anyone who can tell me if this malekko pedal has enough low end for a band setting? Will it still keep filling up the bass frequency range?
@Slow.Learner.Devolution8 жыл бұрын
try a guyatone fz2. im not sure if its a clone of the supperfuzz or companion fuzz but it gets nuts and also boosts low end suer hard. its my go to bass fuzz. on guitar tho. i stack a ds1 and black russion big muff. sometimes i throw in the v9 nyc muff for some jack white sputter fuzz.

Hello, Juan! I watched the ''Fuzz War'' videos, but a question is omnipresent in my mind:You don't blend the clean tone into any of the pedals, do you? We only hear the actual pedals, right?
