I did wait to put heavy stuff on there (like my canisters etc) - It’s been a while now since I did it - but the best I remember I did try to wait to put stuff on it. I resurfaced my counter top a number of years ago with another product. Will this have any trouble adhering to that product? In other words I am not putting it right on laminate counter tops.

Does it smell a lot while painting? Can it be done in winter time when all the windows are closed?

Hi! I don't remember it having a horrible smell. Just maybe like normal 'paint' smell. Both times I did it (in my bathroom and kitchen) I never opened a window and did just fine. I would think you'd be fine to do it in the winter. I hope this helps. We have really enjoyed the difference it made in on our countertops - well worth the investment of time and money. We bought 2 kits and did our kitchen countertops and our double vanity countertop in our bathroom. It was plenty. I actually still have some of the white paint left. Their measurements are pretty accurate on the amount that you'll need. Their customer service chat was a great help as well. Hope this helps. It really did transform our space. Blessings to you!

@@martinsaldua4090 I used it on granite in my bathroom. My "guess" would be that it would work on MDF... but I'm not totally sure. I will say that the Giani Granite website chat feature is amazing!
