So fun to make discoveries with you! 90% of my residential lots have some sort of greenhouse. I wasn’t sure if this kit would add anything of value - I expected a lot of useless clutter. I’m a fan of the windows (though I wish the open window option was on all heights), the pavers with plants growing between the cracks, the wallpapers, the fan! (It actually spins and makes noise in live mode), and the shelves and tables. I’d love if the grow light had some feature, perhaps a moodlet (please NOT energized) or a boost to the plant quality. Or help with plants in enclosed spaces. Wow, I guess I like this kit 🤔

Right?? Verdigris, have learned a new word today. Thank youuu. hehe. But that#s exactly what I meant, the bluish tint from oxidized copper. I like the Kit. especially since there are more build mode items. Those are just way more my thing than decorative clutter. But since it is plant themed, I like most of the items and can really see me use them.

Gina was the main character of this video. I immediately purchased this kit after watching this video. Greatest Simfluencer haha. Also in the UK we have a lot of green greenhouses, but they tend to be a really dark forest green rather than that weird shade!

Yes the darker forrest green is also a color I’ve seen here in Germany. But apparently that’s a typical color option in America. Gina is really not a helping Co-Creator. 😂

For the ones with mosquito net, we call them screened doors and screened windows in the U.S. I live in an area that you would often see screened porches so this is a very welcome addition!

But wouldn't there be like a real window or door behind it? Or is is just frame and mosquito net?

​@@Simproved not necessarily cuz you can have screened-in gazebo or screened-in porches, it's just so you can have fresh air without bugs getting to you.

We have an enclosed porch with screen panels for mosquito season. They switch out to regular, jalousied windows in other seasons. I’m from an area with a high rate of Eastern Equine Encephalitis virus which can be fatal. Not to be a downer! I just see the screens and think, ah, home!

My sister works at a wholesale greenhouse business. Yes, the green pots and the tiny little ones like the little 4-pack seedlings are not shipped to them that way. They receive basically mini seedlings that they then have to plant in the little baby pots. Occasionally they'll receive the 4-packs as larger seedlings and have to transplant those. It's a whole process. In terms of realism, the pots and planters in this kit are pretty decent. The windows are beautiful, but they're not real greenhouse siding as that is more of a heavy plastic. It's kind of translucent so I can see that would be hard to recreate in Sims 4. But in a greenhouse kit, that would've been the time to do it if they were going to. Absolutely no glass on a real greenhouse though. Also the green framing on the windows and such - absolutely not. Unless it's maybe a 1-person, tiny/mini greenhouse in their backyard they made and painted themselves. But on a real like business greenhouse, no, none of that tacky green color. I think that's just a Sims 4 dev thing, trying to make a GREEN greenhouse. Haha

Yes that green color is very common for greenhouses in the US. Particularly "pop-up" kits you can set up easily with yourself or another person.

In the basegame update they added rooftrim swatches that match the swatches for the greenhouse stuff: green, white, black, beige and brown

Yeah I saw them while building another build and wasn't sure. Kind of weird they don't advertise the new swatches more! I would if I were a Dev!

I think the items are very nice. I wish all the plant pots had holes and there was a saucer to place underneath the smaller ones. The doors and windows are the best and the wood panelling swatch and the netting. Spray bottles are good. Maybe I could embrace the outdoors…🤔

neem oil is an organic pesticide. I love gardening, and this is perfect for some ideas I had on uncompleted builds.

I’ve only ever hears about in english speaking videos. In my garden center they don’t have it and the neem oil from amazon is shipping from the is. So I assume it’s called differently in Germany

Apparently the green color was a greenhouse related color swatch form sims 3 seasons. I never had sims 3 seasons only other packs so I didn't recognize it.
