@@CaseyPriceForsakenhero hello! I pre-ordered and got mine in the local mom and pop toy store in my city. It’s different here in HK though. Big box stores never took off here so the system is very different. But I reckon Hasbro will get a good amount of stocks in for this one because they must’ve known people want multiples. Hope you get yours soon. Worse comes to worst if you cannot get your hands on one, try contacting hobby base, Tokyo station, or freeway toys on Facebook. There is a slight premium plus shipping, but that might guarantee you one.

I follow collectors and then the second an American collector has one I go directly to where they got it and order sometimes its Amazon sometimes its others. But yeah it always blows my mind how Asian stores seem to get them way quicker. It's projected for a may release but hopefully I should be able to get my hands on it in February or March.

The custom Helmets gonna go crazy

The old clone trooper mold like for the archive 501st trooper has a more rounded shape for the vizor that is more accurate to the Revenge of The Sith source material, and more accurate than this as well. But it still looks good and is tempting to have for the price. Hasbro has been using a boxy visor shape for their newer figures and this helmet.

This helmet is based on the live-action helmet used in The Mandalorian, BoBF and the Obi-Wan series. Those prop helmets *do* have more rounder visors. It is the Black Series that is inaccurate.

@@FindecanorNotGmail yeah, the vizors in live action are always more rounded than this. Black Series and LEGO are both using a boxy vizor shape that isn’t accurate to anything. Not even to the animated series. Odd.

Hey sincere thanks for your feedback. In real life it looks way bigger than the video, especially the side view. BUT admittedly I’m not a cosplayer and I saw another video where the reviewer compared it to another brand’s helmet, and it looks to be the same size. Assuming those helmets were used in costumes, it probably looks ok with an armor. Thanks again!

Helmet wont look too big or out of scale if you are wearing armor. I think it would look right with the armor.

The recessed tube stripes are a feature of the BoBF/OWK live-action clone helmet. The original ROTS helmets had been modelled with the stripes painted on. Some stripes were chipping; There was carbon scoring on top of them; And some helmets had the strips on the back instead of on the sides.

The BoBF ones aren't actually cut-out their helmet is based on the anovos model I believe

Welcome back! You should try plastic dip , you can always remove/peel and recustomize . Is clone armor metal or plastic, or stormtrooper plastic or metal.

I also think it is going to look better when you got armor on. Ive seen some hardcore rex troopers out there and they tend to have to small helmets compared to the armor. They got the same problem but the other way around... But i guess one will have to try armor and helmet out together to be sure...

I pre-ordered this in 2022 as soon as I saw it was to be released. Still all the sites I keep track of over here (including the one I ordered it from) says it will be released sometime between March and June 2023. I have the Captain Rex Phase I helmet from way back (it was more meant as a toy and not a replica, but it is still nice and have some pre-recorded voice sounds, as well as a voice changer), the Black Series Stormtrooper helmet and soon (I hope) this one, the Boba Fett and Mando helmets. They will look nice on my shelf along with the Black Series figures beside them. Although I have no Captain Rex Phase I figure. Mandos helmet will have two figures beside it, the mixed armour one and the full beskar one. I would like to have 212th 2nd Airborn helmet and a Commander Cody helmet, as well as a plain white Phase I helmet. I also have a Stormtrooper helmet I ordered via a Magazine back in the 70's, I think it was via Starlog Magazine. It is nice replica for it's time, with green see through plastic for the eyes, although a bit small and meant for kids I guess (which I was back then). Yes, it is a full helmet, not just a face mask.

Has anyone tried using the helmet with actual EVA foam or 3D printed armor? I’m worried that mine will be too big and look odd with armor on-unless I could somehow make the armor really really bulky

@Ka-Bashed Figures i recieved mine today. The packages had double tape on the openings and the tape underneath seemed like it had been broken. Anyone else recieved theirs this way? One had a scratch over nose towards forehead and a little bit on the visor. So im not quite sure it should be this way with the packaging and i just had bad luck with the scratch. Although the scratch looked like its more of bad handling rather than shipping...

If you want to collect insanely good clone helmets, look at this guy called "SAMOILOVART" his helmets are gorgeous and he does some customs. I just ordered my 2nd one from him. I got a phase 2 rex and a damaged 332nd from the final scene of clone wars. Everything is hand painted and printed. My rex looks straight out of season 7. And honestly my favorite thing is they don't have that overly glossy look some other customs have.

Looks great, my only complaint & I know it's Hasbro's choice for it, it looks too clean. The stormtrooper helmets they made before made sense though because the Empire & First Order wanted to look clean. In the clone wars era though the clones were always down & dirty. But like you said custom weathering.

i know its a different helmet, however the strap is more or less the same. you can take the head strap out, you kind of just have to force it. i know, it sounds bad, but they reaaallyyy get it stuck in there. once it comes out the first couple times though its not as hard

I live in Hong Kong near the factories in China, so we tend to get our stuff early due to a shorter distance. HK is also tax free so custom clearance might be cut short. Furthermore, these things are sold in mom and pop stores so they don’t have the usual distribution procedures of big box stores, which could’ve easily eat up time. But I hope you get yours soon. Usually the official dates given by Hasbro is a place holder with a huge time buffer.

It is literal. Hong Kong is notorious for our small living spaces (and ranked most expensive in the world). I had to clear out some of my collection because my poor son has my toys stuffed into his closet as well 😂. I used to collect 12inch figures but now mainly 6inch due to space.

Looks very disappointing, visor is off, cheeks aren't angled enough, and the band is far too high from the visor, just looks too goofy and unrealistic, best to 3d print ur own or check out better molds and better helmets on Etsy, just an awful replica
