Review - Hask Hair Products

Hey guys, thanks for watching! I was contacted by someone from Naturally curly about reviewing the Hask hair line and gladly accepted, this is my review on the products I was sent. I used it for the first time last week after realising how little my hair tolerates bleach, I had and still have lasting and noticeable results in the manageability and smoothness/hydration soo much more than any of my nak or redken products have so far. Amazing stuff 😍👌🏼

I used the keratin deep conditioner on dry hair and it was a fail. Most definitely will try on wet hair next time.

Do you know what porosity your hair is? I believe my hair has low porosity and get's easily weighed down by heavy Shea butters or creams. Would you recommend any of these products for my hair type?

My hair likes to be difficult, it is a mix of high and low porosity but I would say I am on the higher side. I would definitely think this would work for you if you are weighed down easily! One word of warning there are some silicones in the products, if you are not trying to avoid those then I would say give it a try!

Thanks for the advice! Also, sometimes I find that my second day hair is very drab, has no volume and many of the waves have been flattened. What do you feel I should be doing for my second day hair? Thanks again!!

second day hair is tricky! the start to good second day hair is dealing with it overnight, so what do you do with it when you go to bed? I put mine up in a loose bun on top of my head and it helps keep my curls from going flat. next is if you want to buy something to help coax them back out, I personally love my q redew and find it helps so much! if your not interested in that I recommend a good spray gel like kinky curly spiral spritz to help rejuvenate the curls and apply it to your hair upside down to get the most volume back!

I actually don't put my hair in a bun, I just let it hang loosely while I sleep. Maybe that could be why my hair looks flat the next morning. Do you personally prefer a gel over mousse? I have finer hair and find that sometimes gels make my hair feel heavy, or even Shea butters as well. I've been trying Herbal Essences Totally Twisted mousse which on my first day, made my hair extremely curly. Next day however, my hair was flat and a tad bit frizzy on top.

how did you apply the mask? did you shampoo before then apply or you only rinsed your hair before applying them

Random Teens I'm sure you could do it either way but it said to apply to clean damp hair so I guess wash it first that's what I did 😊

at ulta I seen they do have bottles of them I picked up a argan oil one for $5 and only found that and a coconut oil one but found more in the packets at walgreens for $2 a pack

Is the argan oil from morocco (strengthens, restore &smooths dry,damaged hair) a good deep conditioner?

The masks are CG friendly but unfortunately they are the only part of the line that are. But if your looking for a good affordable hair mask I would definitely try them out!

Hask products dont work. I used their Keratin line and the coconut oil leave spray and left my hair feeling drier than what hair usually is.

Have you tried HUSK Macadamia line? Cuz I have tried several of their products but only the Macadamia line works for me.😅 my hair is thin and some what on the dry side.. But when I stated using husk macadamia shampoo, it kept my hair moisturizer, light and soft (without weighting it down). It is literally THE BEST SHAMPOO I have ever tried yet. 🙌🏻 Note: for me, most of the time I didn’t even need to use the conditioner that comes with it.. the shampoo itself was enough. I would only use the conditioner if i was feeling extra that day lol And did i mention that it smells delicious! like vanilla or honey 🤤😍
