Glad to hear this review. Even with all the problems mentioned, it sounds more interesting than I expected. And as an atheist, I have no problem with viewing the novel through real life religions.

If you read it, I would be interested in hearing your thoughts.

I’m sorry I missed this one, this is one of my favorite books in Dragonlance, I absolutely love these one off stories about minor characters.

Wow, I am surprised. What is your second favorite Dragonlance novel?
@aedwardsssАй бұрын
@@DLSaga lol I have a lot of favorites. My second favorite would have to be one of your least favorites; the Legend of Huma. My absolute favorite is Draconian Measures, and so my third favorite would be The Gully Dwarves, which was surprisingly endearing.

It has been hypothesised that an AI will come up with the next major religion. It will examine the strengths and weaknesses of all religions and the create something that will be embraced by the young who turns their backs on the old ways and thinking. Interesting concept. While not being a very religious person myself, I dont have a problem with the concept. Cars have been misused but I would not ban them. Same with religions. A very simplistic view I know but this is just the comments section of a youtube video.

I could definitely see ai making a religion, I can’t see anyone following it.

Wow, Hederick's story went a lot darker than I expected. This is one of the few DL books that wasn't on Audible, and I don't own it, so I wasn't able to read it in time for the review - but I fully expected the author to make him a sympathetic character who was a victim of circumstance. Instead, they made him a murderer of his sister and mother. I commend the author for making a bold choice in that regard.

It was a dark novel for sure.

Never read it and I am not inclined to either. Thanks for the review.

I was curious to read about Hederick's interactions with Elistan and what Elistan thought of him. Elistan seemed like a wise man, so I was always confused why he followed Hederick's religious leadership. Did they address that at all in the novel? Thanks!
@DLSagaАй бұрын
It never showed any interaction between them.

@DLSaga that's disappointing. Missed opportunity for the author. Thanks for letting me know!
