@@teddymax_ I had them for a year and then broke. But I didn't give them a good treatment at all. I guess is pretty average the quality. Maybe if you are carefully you'll can use it for two years.

Same! I ordered another one. I was looking for better options. Listened to 1more triple driver, sony Wh1000xm4, Huawei freebuds Pro, AKG earbuds but tgis CM33 still sounds the best for audiophile experience for tgis price. The 2nd best eaebuds I heard was the Ugreen Hitune earbuds in normal mode. The highs can b a lil harsh at times not as clear as the CM33 but definitely worth its price

@@stella6398 I know it's not good, à lot of people have complained about it. The only way round it is to get bluetooth headphones to use when charging. I find the battery has a long time between charges, so when I charge it at bedtime, I don't need to listen to music. Or charge it with the supercharge in the morning.

Using this on my Samsung Note 8 and media playback is good. It doesn't work though when making / receiving calls. There's no audio on the earphones. I'm not sure of the mic if it works on a call.

I have the identical headphones, but it does recognized by my laptop, but then its gone undetected, its like keep on plugging and unplugging the headphone, even I leave it just plugged in. I do hear sound coming from the headphone as the laptop detected as plugged in, after a second or two, no sound coming from the headphone as the laptop detect it as unplugged... do you know how to solve it, or it is just a compatibility issue? Yea they should work. You might have to go into settings and turn on 'OTG' the first time. But as long as the phone has USB-C, it'll be compatible.(even with a standard headphone jack).

I didn't have any issue when connecting the usb C-to-3,5mm dongle from essential phone in my nexus 5x. The volume and play/pause buttons from my fiio f3 were working as expected and the mic as well. So I think this earphones should work too.

You got one major thing wrong: these earphones are not "digital". Digital sound only exists as information. All digital sound gets converted to analog by a DAC (Digital to Analog Converter). These earphones don't have a built-in DAC, it's inside the smartphone. The USB connection to the earphones only carry the analog sound signal from the phone, not digital.

These do have a DAC built in. They have firmware updates supplied by Huawei Smartphones and computers with Type-C ports (or even using USB 2.0/ 3.0 to Type-C adapter) will recognize these as HUAWEI USB-C HEADSET. Source - I own a pair which came with my P30 Pro and Huawei Website.

Yes but the sound quality is different. Huawei has a cleaner and better sound signature than Samsung. Better stick with a Huawei device with a decent internal DAC or a decent laptop. Samsungs sound a bit hollow with an aggressive V curve sound signature
