To my ears these 3rd Gen Air pods are more comfortable compared to the newer Pro version with the soft gel tips. kzbin.infoUgkxgl8SzyQoymMu-S3V55Dskg5QJ8xr1yCR That said, compared to the 3rd Gen, I notice these do not stay planted in the ear as well. One design issue I think, is you squeeze the stem and click it twice to advance your songs. On 3rd gen you tap the large speaker. The difference is by grabbing the stem each time, you tend to loosen the bud fit in your ear. Not always, but the bud falls out a few times while running. The old tap to change never had that problem for me. I would not have changed that tap function. That said, the newer Pro version sticks in the ear, almost airtight if you want that. I do not like that Airtight fit. So that's why I'd stay with this version as the best trade off of comfort, use, and overall feel.

Gonna throw my two cents here. The Lightning connector is a proprietary connector. It's that little cable that's used to charge iphones of generation 6 and airpods. That's why you don't see it used in anything else beyond clones, and apple products. If you're wondering why Apple doesn't use a simple type c usb like a lot of other companies, it's because they like money, and want you to buy their product that you need. Now, knockoff products don't give a darn about what I just explained. So, yes, it is a clone.

My opinion: the hardware is pretty good, I’m actually quite surprised considering how cheap they are. Now, the software sucks. Connecting them to my iPhone is weird, sometimes the connection screen will appear, sometimes it wont, and tbh it’s just way simpler to connect them through the Bluetooth configurations in your Settings app. Over all they are ok. Idk if it’s a problem of my headphones or all of them work this way, also the audio sometimes stops for less than a second and starts working again, it’s weird lol, like randomly there will be a really short stop and continue as if nothing, but it doesn’t happen that much.

It's been sone time but make sure both buds are charged. My friend bought a pair after seeing mine. One did not want to work but when I put them again in the case carefully it began charging. When both were fully charged they worked perfectly fine.

I have a white macaron, they cost about $3 - $4 (converted from our currency) and that's with the shipping fee already. How does power work? When I put them in, I inadvertently hit the wrong place and will hear, "powering off", then I can't figure out where to click to power back on. Is there somewhere I can look to learn all the clicks. I've seen several posts about volume, skipping etc. I'd love to have a cheat sheet. Try pressing the key sensor at the pods for five secs or try putting them both in the case then push the button for 20-30 secs hope that helps welp that worked for me tho

I don't know if I'm unlucky enough, but I bought a pair of Macaron Blue i12 TWS as the ones in this video. Three days after purchase, the left one discharges at an imprecedented rate. No matter how long it remains charging, while the right one works just fine, the left will seem to charge, but after a few seconds it will stop. When I connect them to my phone, the battery level (thanks to the left one) starts at 70-80%, then jumps right down to 40% or something in a matter of a few seconds. And by the time you catch up, 2 minutes later, the left earbud just turns off as its battery was dead. I know it's not the charger for the right one charges perfectly, plus I forced the left earbud to fit into the right earbud charging spot and while it makes perfect contact, it behaves the same. I think the battery came broken out of the factory. What's worse is that the shop I bought them from did not have any warranty. I went back to get a replacement but those Chinese guys are some thieves. I highly recommend not buying anything outside of any warranty. Some products are actually made to last a few days and then break out of nowhere. I barely used mine and still the left one just won't charge anymore. That's how their business work. Won't buy any more Chinese headphones. Might as well save up for some better ones. Trust me on this and DON'T buy them.
