REVIEW: JBL Tune 510BT Wireless Bluetooth Headphones - Great Sound for a Budget Price?

My current favorite BT headphones I'll be comparing these to are my Aomais brand that I've had a few years now. Every time I put those on, I'm impressed and forgot how good they sound. I already know that these JBLs aren't as comfortable as the Aomais so if they sound anywhere as good or better, then they'll likely be keepers. In other words, they better sound great for the price since the comfort leaves much to be desired. Good review and I'll follow up with my results on how well they sound (or don't).

Could you tell me if you use them for exercise activities such as running or going to the gym? How do they perform in terms of them sticking into your ears? Do they fall easily?

I use mine to listen to music and bass because they’re designed for the bass and I played a bunch of bass boosted songs and it shook them

04:54 try one year if you are sweaty like i do... usually if i buy heaphoneys and they have cheap i replace them asap or if they are eco leather i wait until they start cracking (again, around 1y for me) and replace them with something better. Great video BTW.

How's the performance when connected to laptop and receiving calls? Is it any good?

We have 2 of these and they both perform the same. Listening to music/streaming video etc. is very good. we have been told that the mic sounds a little muffled when making a phone call. hope this helps.

hi, my 510BT has a constant popping sound on the right side when there is nothing playing, music and calls works well. Do any of you have this problem?

Yep. I assume it’s age? I’ve had a pair for a few years and it makes the same popping sound. It doesn’t really bother me though as it only happens in certain apps

Yes, I have same sound in right side. Brand new. I use for KZbin videos and in between videos dead sound I hear the faint tapping on right. I don’t hear it in video. Hmmm???

In my experience, the headphones are horribly uncomfortable to wear. I don’t recommend to anyone who has a larger head. Listings online make it look like the headphones are a good generous sized, but in person they look they’re meant for kids. WAY too small. I couldn’t believe how cheap they feel. The only good thing is the sound quality. It’s not great but ok. My old beats sound better and way more comfortable to wear. You’re entitled to your own opinion i get it but, come on now, I think you’re being way too biased. Jbl 510bt suck and they shouldn’t have been approved by the company and rip people off. I don’t recommend them to anyone.

I got a few of them as gifts; bought them on sale from B&M for 20 quid each. For the price, it's pretty decent and does the JBL brand good. Nice review as always. 👍👍

I got a pair today and they sound terrible. Probably the worst I've had (even counting the cheap ones.) My first impression was that I was listening audio through an aluminum can.

you were probably sent a fake. the legitimate ones have really good sound quality. theres a lot of fakes being sold right now.

It depends a lot on the quality of the audio you are listening to, the Bluetooth connection, and how much your device can handle in terms of bit rate and sampling rate. The JBL Tune has a good audio codec, AAC., And CD quality 16bits and 48 kHz, I suggest you use an equalizer too, the sound will be very good
