I have the 2020 pressing, it's good enough. I'm not really a fan of 45 rpms so I'm skipping that one-step.

I believe the 2021 Joni Mitchell Archives pressing was overseen by Joni herself. I wonder if she had any input in the Mo-Fi One Step?

I have the box set version that’s good enough for me. All I want to hear is Joni and her guitar. I think the 45 RPM stuff is just a gimmick. It’s not for me. Thank you.

My issue with Mofi is the quality control of the physical product. Did you get a box with no seem splits on the sleeves? Very frustrating for such an expensive record.

It wasn't the vinyl; it is record wear. I know because I have a first release. The way to overcome the distortions is to get the CD.

Surely the Steve Hoffman & Kevin Grey mastering should have been in this shoot out? I too find the original US Bernie Grundman pressing too rolled off and a little muddy. If you ever see an original Canadian pressing with TG in the runouts, grab it! crazy good.

It’s funny that audiophiles always want first pressings for the sound quality but then say how much better reissues sound! Most audiophiles will never be satisfied with 4 or 5 copies of the same album always buying the latest and greatest reissues for hundreds of dollars

A great album if you enjoy sitting by yourself and crying while listening to music, highly recommended for sad people. ☺️
