B737-8JP(738) that landed at 6:44 is an aircraft belonging to Jeju Air, which is one of South Korea's LCC(low cost carriers). There are a lot of LCCs in Korea such as T'Way, Jin Air, Air Busan, Eastar Jet, Air Seoul... etc

A long trip with 3 legs, good you picked a good Airline. I look fwd to trying Korean Airlines.Btw am relieved you didn’t have to run this time, like at Schiphol. Btw we flew to Ho Chi Minh on Vietnam Airlines and liked it, food and service were good. Perhaps you would consider giving them a try if you fly to Vietnam again. The only problem we encountered was a last minute change of gate on our return. We were already at our gate and then they announced only once in English, before proceeding to Vietnamese. We had to run to our gate , not even sure we had heard correctly. But all passengers were affected so I guess I shouldn’t have freaked out.

You might not have a comfortable trip with Jeju Air because it is terrible compare to Korean Air. You have to buy everything except water, and all items are expensive. The only thing I like about Jeju Air is that all cabin crews are kind lol

Have been following this trip from Amsterdam to Ho Chi Minh City, including the Incheon Airport tour (going to watch the Ho Chi Minh Airport tour next). Thanks for a great series. While it would be nice to travel in Business Class, what I enjoy about your videos is that your are documenting the experience as most of us would travel. It is nice to see the Business/First Class trip reports, but I really like yours as you travel how the 'man in the street' does. My first experience with Tofu was in Thailand, on it's own it's tasteless, but isn't bad mixed in a dish or with sauce. But like Maro said, I would buy it in the shop.

I also love ICN and Korean Air. On my last trip, I flew Asiana. There is something truly special and unique, with the hospitality you experience on the 2 major Korean air carriers. The US air carriers could certainly learn something from them.

Traveller - Flight Reviews & Travel Videos In March 2015, I was flying from LAX to Tokyo NRT, via a connection at Seoul ICN. I was flying on Korean Air and only had a 55 minute transfer time at ICN. Due to weather conditions, my inbound flight was arriving 40 minutes late at ICN. I thought I would probably miss my connecting flight and have to take a later flight to NRT. About 10 minutes before landing, 2 flight attendants came to my seat and asked me to please come with them, as they were going to reseat me next to the exit door. As I reached to retrieve my carry on bag, one of the attendant's insisted she take my bag and would store it in a closet adjacent to the door for landing. When we parked at the gate, she had my bag waiting for me at the door. As I stepped off the plane, an agent was waiting to escort those of us with tight connection times through the transit security and passport check. I was the last passenger to board my next flight, exactly 15 minutes after walking off the first flight. At NRT, my checked luggage was one of the first off the carousel. I can guarantee you, if it had been a US based carrier, neither I nor my bag would have made the connecting flight.

I took the KE908 (a Boeing 777-300) from London to Seoul last March on my way to Tokyo and I have to agree with Maxi, the legroom is exceptional. It feels really roomy for economy class and the crew and service is awesome, and thats not only on long haul international route! My connecting from Seoul to Tokyo was only a short 1:45 min flight but they provide a full meal service and drinks (incl. alchol)! I'm looking at you BA! Where the sandwich in my flight to Germany! I now try to actively avoide flying with most European carriers now because of the lack of service and treament for ecomony passengers.

I (Maxi) think that that Tofu dish is an acquired taste but nonetheless (as I wrote to one of our other viewers) I will try it again when we visit Korea one day in the future. I need to be 100% sure that I am no missing out on something delicious ;-D Korean Air is very good and we cannot recommend a flight with this airline enough. The service from start to end was Tip Top! There was no baby changing facility in that lavatory I filmed, but I am sure that there would be one in the other lavatory, we have experienced this a few times on Boeing 777´s (not all lavatories have baby changing tables). Very, very nice video! Fun to watch. And deserves spending one hour for watching. Regarding tufu, I think we Koreans on board enjoy it as a starter or with main dish together rather than desert. There are some pros and cons about it, especially for westerners. But most of Korean and eastern people like it. Very unique service as only KE and few Japanese airliners serve it. It's Jeju Air. Based out of Jeju Island, South Korea. Beautiful sun destination(warmest climate in southe korea, however does get chilly in winter) known for traditional korean tangerines, therefore they are represented in their orange colored fins and their flight attendants wear orange scarf and ties.

Looks like your 2nd leg with Korean Air was just as good as the first one! That's very good legroom indeed and 3+3+3 seating arrangement definitely makes the cabin feel more spacious compared to the 3+4+3 arrangement many 777 operators favour these days. You even got to fly on a PW4000 powered B772 - so cool! Looking forward to your upcoming flight reviews - they're always a pleasure to watch!

Hi there RVN, lovely to hear from you and we hope all is well up in the north! The flight experience on this leg of the journey was just as good as the first Korean Air Flight and therefore we can confidently recommend flying with this airline to anybody! The 3+3+3 seating did make the cabin feel more open and comfortable, but we did miss getting the two seaters usually available at the back of the Boeing 777 (they were already reserved by somebody else). How do you know that it was powered by PW4000´s? There are plenty more Flight Reviews on the way. Our homeward journey from this trip (also with Korean Air) will be released in the first half of 2018, but will only be in two parts as we were both too tired to film the final KLM flight from Amsterdam to Copenhagen. We also like flying with the Boeing 777´s but prefer it more when we are able to get a pair of the two seater window seats at the back of the aircraft. That Tofu had a very special taste, and I think that I gave it a good chance HeHe! When we travel to Korea one day in the future I will try it again and see if my opinion has changed. Incheon Airport has been rated as Number 2 Best Airport in the world. It is an impressive airport, but in my (Maxi) honest opinion I do not believe that any other airport at this time comes close to the service and entertainment opportunities Changi Airport offers their passengers. HeHe José, my (Maxi) reactions were very honest! I think that I was expecting it to taste like yogurt but it tasted like nothing I have tasted before :-D It was definitely not expired as you can see from the label at 37:11 (expiry date 01-01-2017 / we flew on 23/1216) but it did somehow remind me of the Sour Cream and Onion taste, maybe I got it totally wrong. When we get the chance to visit Korea in the future I will definitely try it again, just to be sure that I am not missing out on something good, HeHe! That's a Tofu pudding. In Asia, we use soyabeans and grind it and we make Tofu out of the soya bean and Tofu is either cooked Savory or we made it into a pudding like what you had on the flight and the sauce is not Soya sauce it's actually brown sugar. Brown sugar is much more healthier. Oh and that Tofu pudding is actually a Dessert not a Starter. Not a lot of Europeans/ Westerns love Tofu so that explains why you and Maro might not like the taste.

For the “Soy/Tofu” in the small container, usually it is a desert dish for Oriental folks. It S/B mixed with some sort of ginger sirup to sweeten up as a desert dish. I’m curious why it is delivered with soy sauce? 😏😏

Totally irrelevant for Korean but as you mentioned the pray rooms, I would just like to say that there is a prayer room right next to the toilets in the main lounge at Dubai airport. We used it as we were in business for klm. They are literally next door to each other and I accidentally walked into the prayer room by mistake. I walked straight back out saying sorry but just to warn people in future as it's obvs very embarrassing and disrespectful as there was a gentleman praying at the time.

On this particular journey we had the chance to fly with Korean Air and to experience one of the world´s best airports, Incheon Airport.
