The Black Falcon’s Border Fortress MOC is a tribute to the Creator 3 in 1 Medieval Castle set 31120.
Consisting of 5864 pieces (including minifigures parts), the built uses ALL and ONLY the parts of 4 sets 31120 (INCLUDING THE SPARE PARTS of each set).
ZERO additional parts are required (although coins or fishing weights are recommended inside the trebuchet’s counterweight).
ZERO leftovers.
Main features:
Compact fortress surrounded by water, openable at 180 degrees to reveal the interiors.
Dragon/wyvern fully articulated.
Functional trebuchet with its ammunition racks (range: over 2 meters).
Market place: 2 stalls and a covered well.
Over 12 furnished rooms and 7 fireplaces (see infographic).
Drawbridge and lockable double door.
Water wheel with functional flour mill.
Troops: 12 black falcon knights and 4 undead skeleton warriors.
Brick built animals: 1 rooster, 8 chickens, 4 vultures, 3 ducks, 2 crows, 2 swans and 2 rats.

Closed fortress: height=50 cm (20in); width=33cm (13in); depth=50cm (20in)
Opened fortress: height=50cm (20in); width=84cm (33in); depth=31cm (12in)
Wyvern: max length=35cm (14in); wingspan=48cm (19in).
Trebuchet: max height=36cm (14in); max length=30mm(12in); width=10cm (4in)

Admit it! You are doing this deliberately because you know I only have two sets after the kids took two, so you know I cannot build this...but you know I will really REALLY want to build it...but I cannot! So I will out play you, I wont fall into your trap, tomorrow I will drive the 60 miles to get more Creator Castle sets, they have 5 left and they are pretty much the last left in any shop, after those go its pay a lot more. I have to build this, so it looks like I am taking a little drive in the morning. Usually what ever they say the stock is there is 1 set more, so if they say they have 5 they really have 6, then I could do this AND Summer mountain fortress. Have fun building! My two weeks Lego building break begins tomorrow...the only problem is this Christmas thingy and family getting in the way, its like they expect me to make time for them and talk to them...the horror.

I was gonna build that summer fortress based on the bricklink set. I think I'll build this one instead. How many hours did the build take approximately?

Well not sure how many hours, but lets say 20 h would be enough Depends how fast u build,and if u sort the pieces

Well Guardians Stronghold is my favorite ,but now I feel like 50:50 This one uses 4x31120 so has more to play with
