Great video the head barbell is place on backwards. You will need to turn it around and get the head to lean back for flight poses.

@@DCSG81 the pin in the neck joint you have to take it out and turn it the other way around. Once you place the head back on the head should go back farther. I watched youtuber D amazing talk about it. 👍🏾

Hey DCSG 81 another great review. Just a quick tip I pick up from D-Amazing when it comes to the tight Mafex joints. He recommended using the silicon shock oil and just a few very small drops in those tight spots seems to do the job. I use it for pretty much all my Mafex figures now so I no long have the fear of breaking my $90+ fig anymore lol.

@@DCSG81 u can buy on Amazon it’s called Traxxas Silicone Shock Oil. It’s a clear odors oil but it looks black in the bottle because of the label. It’s like $6.

I think the reason the pectorals look that they have a cut under them is because they are a separate piece glued over the torso, this was probably designed this way so they could fit the front part of the cape inside the collar of the shirt, sort of like the chest piece on the Christian Bale 3.0 Batman figure (in production the cape is probably glued to the pectoral piece, and then that piece is glued to the torso, this is also why on your figure the lower part of the S symbol is slightly not consistent to the top part of the symbol), great review by the way.

@@DCSG81 it kind of looks like the outer line slightly doesn’t match perfectly from the top piece to the bottom, it’s very small but at least that’s what I saw on your video, it might not be noticeable in hand though

I like the figure. To see defects you'll have to use a magnifying glass, or put the figure really close to your eyes. I'll play with mine and display it. The "flaws" are insignificant.

To colour match the yellow citadel paints yriel yellow mixed with white scar for the trunks mephiston red with a little doombull brown 👍

But isn't yriel yellow shiny/glossy? The yellow in Superman's belt and chest symbol appears sort of like a matte or satin finish.

Pretty nice figure!. Good review as well… I actually picked up a Mafex Figure recently which was the Newt Scamander (from the “Crimes of Grindelwold” series).It’s a really cool Mafex figure too... I actually like the red and blue colors on this Superman figure, it kind of pops. Thanks for sharing!.

@@DCSG81 The Johnny Depp Figure is actually the one that’s being released next, the one I bought is the first one ,Newt the guy with the suitcase of strange creatures... Like “Niffler” The creature that looks like a platypus that steals gold & anything shiny! (The sets pretty cool it comes with two suitcases one when He can actually stand inside it it has 2 body’s (like the Tony Stark Iron Man that came with two bodies) plus a bunch of other accessories and it does come with the Niffler & one other creature, pretty cool.

My figures 2nd head has paint missing from it's right ear, one dot on the neck and sloppy paint on the belt. Apart from that, the main body, limbs, 1st head and cape are fine. Good review. Hope you enjoy it!

Looks like a good Superman! Do wish he was a bit larger though, body mold seems similar to Batman's only with a bigger chest overlay. Still hoping they make a more definitive version -smiling head, heat vision effects, or something to make it more worthwhile.

Yeah a heat vision effect will be great! They done it for Cyclops so no reason for them not to make it for Supes.
