Nice to see another halon 6 lover. Best bow Mathews have ever made I believe. Best bow I have had. I live and hunt in Australia and use this bow almost every weekend for hunting. I've changed strings on this beauty about 4 or so times? Spot hogg 5 pin site. I hold it that much that the paint around handle is down to bare metal. No need to change as it is quite and just as accurate as any of the newer bows out there. Cheers Rob

Hey mate, Yeah I mainly hunt for trophy boar and occasionally fallow deer. Unfortunately deer are considered a pest in Australia so the government have programs to get rid of them... I've got a couple spots for deer that used to be good? It's hard to get on to spots with deer? We do have a fair few species of deer but not like what you have over there? Cheers Rob

Had a NTN 33 for the last couple years. Shot my old Halon 7 that I had traded to a buddy years ago. Well now he has a pse and I couldn’t be happier to have my halon back

When you shoot a Mathews bow. Then try another bow company. It seems that most people go back to Mathews. 😊

The halon is a great bow by mathews. I love my mathews V3X 29. I have it in granite wt gas strings in flo orange wt gun metal servings . Hamskea epsilon rest made for mathews spot Hogg fast Eddie xl wt a shrewd optum 35mm scope wt a shrewd rod for adjustments and a shrewd 4 power lens. The total peep tech grip for mathews . The new mathews low pro 1pc 5 arrow quiver . Conquest control freak pro stabilizers a 12 inch up front wt a qd and a lower back bar wt a 10 inch bar. And the engage limb legs. Shoot Easton axis 5mm arrows. And a stan shootoff TL thumb button release. Keep the videos coming. I just killed a Hogg at 47 yards. Full pass through wt Magnus stinger buzz cut broadhead. What broadhead do you use.

Yeah good stuff man. Got onto new spot for Red deer. Plus the fallow are starting to rut now. We don't do a lot of tree stand work in Australia?. Mainly spot and stalk or rattle them, call them in. Rob

@@OfficialBryantLand I ask because I like the look of the riser but the cable rod slide system looks odd to me, I looked into buying a yellow Halon recently but I just didn't like the look of the cable rod
