Companies still doing the open mouth based in the original suit exposed at the entrance of the Stan Winston Studios and not in the movie. A fun fact is that suit is now in the personal Arnold Schwarzenegger's collection.

Mezco has done a wonderful job when it comes to the Jungle Hunter Predator. It's nicely detailed, especially for being a 1/12th scale piece. This is a solid version of Jungle Hunter Predator, aside from some paint inaccuracies and a lack of extra paint in a few areas. Otherwise, thanks as always Dean for another great video! I’ve had this for a few weeks. I like it. I like the paint on the neca 7 inch a bit more but this is really good. I’m gonna pose it fighting my Mezco Batman eventually (too cold to go outside so probably will be awhile until I do pictures 😢)

I had this on pre-order for nearly a year and received it today lol, wasn't sure at first due to some critical reviews. Having it in hand now it is a fantastic piece what they achieved with such a small figure is amazing. Thanks for your video Dean, brilliant as always, cool music as well 😂

Fantastic review and dissecting the figure as always. Completely agree and my only issue is not having double joint elbows (should of been) and the paint work as you have advised. But other than that, it's fantastic. Helmet on, it's a mini hot toys. I've seen the alien already (online pictures - good lighting) with the predator and it looks fantastic. All you Dean and would be nice in your collection.

2:40 the reason you might not see the bullet dents is because they may have used the sideshow exclusive Jungle Hunter from Hit Toys which comes with an exclusive non-battle damaged Bio-Mask! I actually own a sealed one!

Their Alien is awesome, I got it on this weekend and I haven't been able to keep my hands off it. Looks so good. Getting that one in hand actually convinced me to get the predator, another alien for myself to keep in the box in case the seamless body ever rips on me and two for a couple of my friend's. I personally like it better than the Necca version I've had for about a year.

It’s a nice figure. Unfortunately mine arrived and the shoulder cannon doesn’t work. Have to wait for a replacement and Mezco is being Mezco. The replacement will arrive at some point basically.

This figure is good for if you collect both Neca and Black Series/ Marvel Legends because... Yes the NECA scale is 1/10 which is too big... But with Mezco Being 1/12, you can finally have Star Wars fight Predator or Marvel fight Predator and it looks in scale and not out of scale... Plus with the amount of detail thjs figure has, he's perfect for just taking photographs alone... Yes there may be some inaccuracies... But all in all it's a mix of hot toys Classic Jungle Hunter and Movie Costume Jungle Hunter... Plus it is an action figure so there is also some creative play here... I've been waiting for this fig since the OG pre-order of it and I can wait to crack this Yautja open when he arrives

This is definitely an awesome figure but as others have said it’s not at all accurate. Bio mask is off, it’s missing the arm hose and the faces are off. NECA’s sculpts are still the best. And yeah I immediately noticed the package cover art is Hot Toys’ bio mask! That same image was also used on a recent Predator anthology book. How does Mezco allow a competitors product be front and center of their own product!? Crazy.

Excellent video man. This was one of my most anticipated figure of the year. I was sorely disappointed with the paint though. Its almost like they ran out of black paint at the factory and just compensated with brown instead. His head crest, his right shoulder, his thighs, and his abs are all missing black paint. The unmasked head sculpt is pretty great for a generic predator. However, for the jungle hunter himself, it is not great. With all of its flaws though, as soon as you put the mask on him, he looks incredible. I'm really hoping someone experiments with custom paint on this guy, I think it would take this figure to the next level.

To be honest, I prefer the more spread open mandibles when it comes to the look, especially since I feel it was technological shortcomings in the original predator because the concept art stuff has wider mandibles

I will never be able to unsee picturing the original P1 as a rotten banana 🤢🍌🤮😂😂😂😂 That's definitely a cool little figure to have in the collection. It's crazy that they call in 1:12 . It just seems a lot smaller than that. When I think of 1:12 I immediately think of NECA. The bio mask is inaccurate. No blast marks. And should be smooth not pitted. This is more avpish bio mask. Hrs also missing the hose that connects from the bicep to the cpu gauntlet.
