Which one would you choose? And have you tried any of them? Please tell us what you think!

Thanks, It realy helps me choose. I have a WaveRider 26 and now I'm convinced to see what the Sky 7 could do.

Love my Wave Sky 7s. Great running shoe that doesn't get a lot of respect or attention here in the states.

Can someone with flat feet wear both of this shoes?
@TG-tennis-nature8 ай бұрын
I have both shoes. Wave sky 7 is possibly the most comfortable trainer I’ve ever owned, these I will not ruin by running in them! They look great, have good breathability, a real pleasure to walk in. Wave rider I use for the gym a good cross trainer. If you like walking around in Cloudmonster you’ll love the Wave sky 7’s! Both shoes are true to size.

How is wave Sky compared with a max cushion shoe like nimbus 25 or new balance v4 more or 1080v13??? Is it softer more plush cause I am searching for plush shoe
@TG-tennis-nature7 ай бұрын
I cannot compare to either shoes you suggested unfortunately. Sky wave 7 is a very soft bouncy shoe, suitable for short or long runs. @@Faith_and_Kindness

@@Faith_and_Kindness I also have the NB v13, but if you alternate with the more firm Wave Rider, you get the best of both worlds every other day :P

Mizuno's (as well as others'...) "big" shoes; Sky for lighter people, Horizon for those heavier (and perhaps Paradox for truly big guys), really only come into their own for really long (for a given runner; as in pushing mileage with no care about speed) runs on unchallenging surfaces. At the end of a "longest run so far", their softness and stability are nice and comforting, and just feel less punishing. But they exist more as a compliment to an allrounder like the Rider. While good runners can run fast in anything, the Rider simply encourages more playfulness, and more variation in pace, than do maximally big, soft, wide, plush shoes.

so do you think the wave rider 27 would be a good option for a half-marathon? I have been using he wave rider for years?
@santis07085 ай бұрын
Its worth to buy both? sky for recovery/long(12 miles) and rider 27 as a daily (6 mile)
@RunningXpert5 ай бұрын
It's always great to have two shoes, as it gives your body a variation of load, and it also increases how long shoes last if they can dry out completely after every use. These shoes would work great together. Lars

I'm looking for mizuno that they are soft, comfortable as if I'm walking on clouds. Is it mizuno sky 7 or what do you recommend.
@RunningXpert6 ай бұрын
Hey Carli :) Sky 7 is a great shoe for walking. It is soft and very plush. The padding might make it a little wark in the summer though, but that is the way with all highly cushioned shoes with a lot of padding. Lars

Any room to wiggle your toes? I would add that to your reviews! Must have for longer runs! 👍🏻😂
@RunningXpert8 ай бұрын
Thanks for the great input. We have incorporated how snug the fit is in our new videos, and we will make sure to remember toes space as well. In general I think both the Rider and the Sky have a great fit with some space for your toes. It always depends on your foot shape, but I have a quite regular width and I have plenty of space. Lars

Anybody know the difference between the Mizuno Wave and the Mizuno Wave Skyrise?
@RunningXpert4 ай бұрын
Hey. Mizuno Wave isn’t a shoe, it needs another name after. Is your question about the sky vs skyrise? The skyrise is a lighter version of the sky with less cushioning and a lower price tag. The Wave Rider is in the same weight class as the Skyrise, but with a higher drop and a geometry that should make running fast a tiny bit easier. Was this what you were looking for? If not please elaborate 😃 Lars

@@RunningXpert Thank you for replying need, them for a 3 mile (5KM) easy run commute to work, I just started running and not interested in tempo or marathons, need a large toe box. The Wave 6 and Sky Rise 3 and 4 are on discount being the older versions.
@RunningXpert4 ай бұрын
Yeah. All those shoes will work great. If you want an extra bit of comfort, then you should try the Sky 6, but Skyrise offers plenty of cushioning, so it would be a great first shoe for your commutes. Lars
