I have both. Will pick mungyo anytime. It's a lot more pigmented. And had done many good looking paintings with it.

Its fun to watch such videos. W&N cotman are good and W&N professional are the best.

Would love to try.. 😊

I can see the benefits of both. WNC are more controllable, MG has more drama/flow which can be harder to control but can be the better choice if you want a looser style. WNC though has been honest about that being their intent though so it’s not really fair to say they aren’t as good… they are just aiming at different styles/needs.

I think there is a time and place for both. I have also come to the conclusion that knock your eyes out vibrancy is not everything. Many vibrant watercolors have dyes to enhance the color which are not lightfast. Cotman is reliable, and I find it has a place when you need a softer more velvety feel, or if you need more predictable control. I also like Paul Rubens, they are very good handling and good pigment load for the cost, but doing your research you will throw out a few multi pigment colors, repeats, or fugitives, and still end up with a really good set. Additionally, for those of you who do decide you do like Cotman, you can buy the very same paint made in the same factory under the name Phoenix Artist for about half the price.

Is brustro travel kit better or winsor and newton? I have a coupon of 2500 which would you suggest me to buy?

Winsor and Newton are great. Also, you can go for Mungyo, avoid brustro watercolor

I like the bright colors.

What is LIGHTFASTNESS on both?
@CreativeSpacebyAshwani5 ай бұрын
I would say both are equally good. It's just that mungyo is more saturated

So Should I Buy Mungyo Instead Of Cotman?
@CreativeSpacebyAshwani10 ай бұрын
I would suggest mungyo 🙂

Mungyo totally lies on their lightfastness

Mungyo is giving competition to many well known products as they keep increasing their product line with student and professional options for prices far less than the big brands.
