Nerf Zombie Driller.. Just Another Hammershot or Zombie Slayer??

Nerf adds its second edition to the Zombie line with the Zombie Driller. Yes, it is another hammer shot. The good news is that most of us like the Hammershots. How does this Hammershot stack up against all of it's siblings, it's not too bad. The blaster felt pretty good even though the grip was a little small. The aesthetic of the blaster is nice and the performance was pretty good for a Nerf blaster, which I was happy with. It appears that Nerf Zombie will be a thing so we will be getting more blasters like this. I wish they looked a little more like the old Zombie Strike blasters, but Hasbro and Nerf are really going crazy with their new skins technology and that seems to be the route of the future. The Corruptor will be the next zombie blaster coming down the pike. Overall, I like the blaster, but definitely wait for it to go on sale before you pick one up.

I bought the bat but the babysitters bat is way cooler. But then XShot leaked new zombie themed stuff and im more excited about what theyre doing now. Could you imagine a pro zombie themed xshot blaster???

I totally agree with you. The babysitters bat is definitely more of a bat as opposed to a small club like the Strikeout, and is also too hard to use as a melee weapon, but at least they tried. And yes, I'm super excited too for the XShot Zombie line as well! All the blasters looked awesome and I love the design theme! A pro zombie themed blaster...now that's just crazy talk! Who would do something so incredibly awesome? 😂🤣 I wish!!

It's definitely cool looking in terms of what it's trying to be, but the design on it is so blah. So yes, I agree, that a different paint job would give this thing some life and look awesome!

​​​​@@runkurgan The grip definitely wasn't made for adult hands. That was my biggest complaint. Im really trying to sell myself and love these new Blasters like I loved the old Zombie Strike stuff, but it's not an easy sell. 😂

Hi. If the artwork was done in the same manner as the TMNT Sweet Revenge I'd say the resolution is crap. It looks like they stretched a tiny sticker over a too large an area. Now let's discuss your erroneous affirmation that this blaster is a Hammershot. I haven't got a Driller but from what I can see it has 0 (zero) style compared to a Hammershot! And when you picked up that red Hammershot I knew my time was well spent with this review! I therefore conclude that a Hammershot is better, even though you need 6 fingers to wield it correctly.

It is exactly like the TMNT blaster in terms of the skin, but it's even worse. At least the TMNT blasters colors on the artwork weren't so muted like the Driller. It just looks dull. The artwork on the Strikeout was a 100% better than the Driller, and pretty much equal to the TMNT Sweet Revenge, which were also kinda dull and light years behind the look of the XShot's Skins Blasters. The Driller is kinda cool because it's different, and even though it performs and functions just like a Hammershot, it's just a novelty. The original Hammershot wins without a doubt! That's my humble opinion and I'm sticking to it! 😁
